Story
Zeus was adopted by a roomate and I in Houston back in 2019, came from a home with his brothers and sisters. I moved back to the DFW area in 2021 and have had him since. He’s honestly the perfect dog besides his propensity to jump up on you and ruin your clean clothes 😂. Listens to basic commands and loves a good back rub. Only barks when someone knocks, never at other dogs even when barked at. Very spry to be almost 9 years old and has really shown no signs of slowing down. I hate to let him go because of my health issues but that is unfortunately what it’s come to.

Story
Wacha is a 5 year old pittie mix, weighing in at about 50 lbs. She’s spayed, house broken and potty trained; extremely playful, affectionate and cuddly!  Wacha is an active, athletic girl that will be best paired with a family who provides the physical activity she so enjoys!  Maybe introduce her to “dog sports” like agility, nose-work, or just a running partner. Wacha doesn’t appreciate cats, and can be “dog selective”. A home with small children wouldn’t be good because of their unpredictability, but she loves older children and adults. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Wacha is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.May 11, 2025, 10:01 pm

Story
Hi I'm Kiera! People are my favorite thing in the whole world! I cannot contain my excitement when people come near me! After I greet you and wiggle my body all over then I can relax with you and hang out on the couch. I am crate trained but I would prefer to sleep next to you on the bed. I get along with dogs my size and who like to play a lot. I can play a little rough sometimes so I would do better in a home with a dog who likes to play like I do. I love kids but I would do better in a home with older children due to my excitement when people come and I forget how big I am. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Kiera is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm
