Story
This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for BINGO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. His adoption is FREE to approved home. Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Bingo! This 2-year-old mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Staffordshire Terrier will win your heart with his devotion and playful nature. Weighing in at 40 pounds, Bingo is a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and chew on his beloved stuffed toys and Nylabones. Bingo's unique charm shines through in his quirky habits. He absolutely adores ice cubes and will eagerly run to the fridge with you for a treat. He also has a soft spot for pup cups from Starbucks. Despite being mostly deaf, Bingo is a smart cookie and responds well to hand commands like place, sit, down, and stay. He's a graduate of The Dog Wizard of Knoxville, and his training can continue with his new family. Bingo is fully potty trained and will ring bells hanging on the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He's also crate trained, making bedtime and alone time a breeze. Although he enjoys the company of his person, he can be a bit anxious around sudden movements due to his hearing loss. Bingo thrives in a one-person household where he can be the star of the show. If you're ready for a sweet, smart, and devoted companion who will bring joy and excitement into your life, Bingo is the perfect match for you. Give this lovable pup a forever home where he can truly shine!    Interested in adopting? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 6, 2024, 2:12 pm

Story
Meet Sasha, Sasha was a rescue from under a house in Hartsville Tn. She had been roaming the streets and being fed by multiple people until she decided to have her 8 puppies under a porch. Sasha was one of the lucky ones and was taken into foster and was a wonderful mother. She was very cautious in the beginning protecting her babies. Sasha loves to play but would do best in a home where the other dogs are not overpowering to her. She will let the other dog know when she has had enough. She likes to take walks and does well on a leash. She loves her toys and loves to eat. Sasha would be best with older children. She might be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to get in your lap and just be loved on. If you are a looking for a companion to walk with and just hang out with meet Sasha. I have a lot of video and would be glad to send it so you can see her. She seems to be more comfortable with women but is fine with the foster’s husband but it took a little bit. Sasha is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and on preventions for heart worm and flea and tick and is micro chipped. She is spayed and approximately 50 lbs and 3 years old. Sasha is currently located in Tennessee and the adoption fee is $150. Transportation may be available to out of state adopters for an additional cost depending on the area. The first step in our process is submitting the application. We are happy to set up a meet and greet once an application has been approved. If you would like to adopt Sasha please fill out our online adoption application at http://safehaventn.com/ .
