Story
***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS*** Thor is a handsome 3-4 year old Shepherd/Malamute type mix. He is a big tall boy with long legs and weighs approximately 75-80 pounds. Thor does well with most dogs - both large and small. He can be vocal and will occasionally bark in their faces (which a few don't appreciate). He's fairly mellow with bursts of energy. Thor has been fostered with cats previously and done fine, however, he's not currently with any cats at this time. Thor will occasionally chase the cats he's seen, so a dog-savvy cat would be best if you have one! Thor does great meeting new people and wants to give love to everyone he meets! He is super sweet and will sit nicely for treats. He has been around kids as young as 2 and done remarkable well - although occasionally he does forget his size and has bumped into the kids a bit hard on accident. Thor is kennel trained and has not had any accidents when lose in the house. He does well in a baby gated area or his kennel while his fosters are gone. He loves a good chew bone or treat filled kong to keep him busy while you're gone. Thor walks fairly well on the leash and knows how to sit, come, and is working on lay down. He's a smart boy and likes to please, but does have a stubborn streak to him at times. Thor has started on his vaccinations, is neutered, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and current on his flea/tick/heartworm/deworming protocols. His adoption donation fee is $300.00

Story
***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS*** Hunter is a young 1-2 year old male German Shepherd mix. He is shorter in stature and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He is considered full grown. Hunter does well with other dogs. He prefers more laid back pups, but does well with slow introductions. He loves zoomies and loves when others join him! Hunter will do best without cat friends in his new home as he's a bit too interested in them. Hunter is friendly boy and does well when going out on errands. He can be a bit unsure when first approached by strangers, but he warms up quickly with treats and sweet words! Hunter has been around some children, but it's been limited. With correct leadership and training, he would do well with kids. Hunter prefers to eat his food separately from others so he doesn't have to worry about them stealing any of his goodies. He is good about taking treats. He is great on the leash when going on walks by himself, but if you try to walk him with others, he tries to pull so he can be the leader! Hunter can be a ball of energy at times and would be considered medium to higher energy and needs daily exercise. He does also enjoy curling up on the couch and having a good snuggle time while watching movies too! Hunter has been vet checked, started on his vaccinations, neutered, heartworm tested negative, and is current on his flea/tick/heartworm/deworming protocols. Hunter's adoption donation fee is $300.

Story
***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS*** Spook is a small stout little boy who’s believed to be a Pittie mix – likely with something smaller. He’s very short in statue but very stocky. He’s approximately 12 months old and currently approximately 30 -35 pounds and still growing. Spook is good with other dogs, both large and small. He loves to grab at their legs and wrestle with them. He is good at following cues the others give him and will back off when they’ve had enough. Spook does well with cats. He is cautious but will occasionally try and play with them until they hiss/swat at him. Spook loves to meet people and warms up quickly to new faces. He has learned to sit for attention and walks very nicely on a loose leash. He needs a few reminders when he gets excited to not pull, but for the most part he’s mastered the walking! He loves to check out new places and enjoys carrying toys around in his mouth. He loves the heavy duty chews and the toys that squeak. Spook is kennel trained and used to kenneling overnight. He does well with house training on a schedule, but needs to be watched for signs to go out as he doesn’t let you know in an obvious manner (he gets snoopy and paces but doesn’t come up to you to go out). Spook is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. He is too young to heartworm test, but has been on preventatives his whole time with rescue. Spook is not yet neutered but will be prior to heading to his new home. Spook’s adoption donation fee is $300.00.
