Story
Norbert and his sister Hedwig are available for adoption, either together or separately. They were found abandoned in a house, kept caged 24/7. Norbert is a typical big-headed pitty; he seems to have doggy ADHD. He tries his best, but it is hard for him to focus. A well-contained yard is a MUST - Norbert has pushed under a chain link fence in his drive to join company and has also accidentally jumped through a screen window. His escapes have only been to join humans he is separated from or to meet animals. He is very high energy but it won't last long. He can be a lot to meet, barrels up to people and animals. Patient pets are a must because he otherwise can spook them just being friendly. He also jumps on people but will take corrections well. He is struggling to learn walking on a leash, even with a harness he pulls until he is tired. He should be kennelled when unattended as he is struggling with potty training and can be destructive. He will come with a large kennel if wanted.

Story
Hedwig and her brother Norbert need a new home, either together or separate. These two pups were abandoned by their previous owner, kept in a cage 24/7 with minimal human interaction. They have come a long way! Hedwig is a cuddler who wants to be with you. She will play but her favorite activity is to cuddle. Carefully supervised, she has minimal accidents in the house and takes corrections well. She has practiced on the leash and with basic commands like Sit, Leave It, or Cage. She will need a fenced in yard. She has tried to escape the yard she is in a few times, her primary drive when she escapes is to find humans. She is still learning her manners and will jump up on people when excited, but otherwise knows better. Sometimes she will chew on inappropriate things if left unattended.
