Hi I’m Chanel, I’m a female German Shepherd that needs a new home. I’m great with kids, dogs and cats. I am fixed and up to date with vet visits and shots. I’m a very gentle dog and I love to play with toys with you. We need to give Chanel a new home due to landlord issues. She is a great and very sweet dog. She will play all day long but we need to give her a new home due to the landlord.

Story
We adopted Kyra from the shelter about 6.5 years ago. Unfortunately, we are needing to rehome Kyra, due to some ongoing behavior challenges and changes in our family. Kyra is a typical loving, cuddly, energetic, goofy pit mix, and is great around people. She been through intense training, and is good with commands - sit, down, place, leave it (drop it), let' go (follow), and heel. She's spayed and up to date on vaccinations, and doesn't have any known or ongoing health issues. However, she's had a history of resource guarding agression that had periodically escalated into fights between her and our other dog. We now have a young child, and we just cannot continue to have the risk of incidental injuries if the toddler gets in between them, and the ongoing stress it's causing our other dog. She would probably do best with an experienced owner, in a home with no other dogs, and older children only (or no children). We're not sure how she'd behave around cats.
