Story
Meet Jess! "Jess is the sweetest dog! She will make an amazing addition to any family!" – That’s what her foster family says, and we couldn’t agree more! Jess is a 2-year-old, 58-pound Pit Bull with a stunning reddish-brown coat and an even more beautiful heart. This affectionate girl is all about her people—like most pitties, she’s a world-class snuggler who will happily curl up beside you for cuddles or some binge TV time. She has laid-back energy but also has a fun, playful side, and every once in a while she will get the happy zoomies which are sure to make you smile! Jess is house-trained and has been a wonderful guest in her foster home, showing great manners in an apartment setting. She doesn’t bark excessively or get stressed by the sounds and activity around her. Her foster mom takes her to Home Depot to help socialize her and she is such a good girl! At first she was a little timid but she feels more comfortable every day and is so well behaved. While she’s currently the only dog in her foster home, she previously lived with another female Pit Bull and a Boston Terrier and did great! She’s polite on leash, doesn’t pull, and isn’t overly reactive or fixated on other dogs she meets. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joining a home with other pups, Jess will fit right in! If you're looking for a loving, gentle companion to fill your days with joy, Jess is your girl! Come meet her and let her steal your heart! If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2299317##

Story
Gizmo was rescued from the streets of Texas where he was dumped by his previous owner. He languished there for a few months while a kind woman fed him eash day but was not able to take him in. Circle 2 Rescue stepped up to save this handsome boy and quickly got him to a vet. At his vet appointment we learned that Gizmo is heart worm positive. The treatment will be covered by the rescue. In his temporary foster home, Gizmo has been an absolute delight! His foster mom introduced him to the neighbor's puppy and Gizmo was so patient and well behaved, even though Gizmo was playing with his ball and the puppy was jumping all over him. Gizmo showed remarkable patience. He has been kind and respectiful of her young kids with closely supervised encounters and is well behaved in the house. His foster mom said he is a dream on leash and he loves to play fetch, even bringing the ball back to you! (this was before we knew he was hw positive). He is so happy and excited to see his foster mom when she returns from work each day from her teaching job. She said he makes her heart feel happy. These things indicate the Gizmo was likely a beloved family pet at one point in his life and he must have been so confused at being abandoned. But he hasn't let his hardship affect his happy attitude. This boy is a love!!  His heartworm treatment is not complicated but involves about 3 vet visits over the course of 3 months.  Gizmo weighs 52 pounds but needs to gain a few pounds. Whilte the vet was not certain of Gizmo's age, he said he is "more than 5 years old" so he could be 5 or he could be 8 or 9 years old. We will try to get a more definitive age for him. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2304740##

Story
Kat and her puppy were picked up as strays and rescued from a small, over-crowded shelter in New Mexico where they were in danger of being euthanized to make room for new dogs. A local New Mexico rescue quickly got them to safety in a temporary foster home and now we are seeking a foster so Kat can come to Colorado! (the puppy has been adopted). The vet estimated Kat is 6 to 7 years old. She is very sweet, a little bity shy and full of love! If you can help us by fostering Kat, please apply on the website.   Here is what her temp foster said about Kat! Kat is a loving cuddle bug that would love to be someone’s walking companion. She likely about 6 or 7 years old, but still a puppy at heart. She LOVES toys, kids, walks, all the attention and small dogs. Though she has had crate training, she doesn’t like being crated and complains while crated. She’s also smart enough to open her crate, so we had extra locks put on hers. I do not recommend her in a house with cats. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $150 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2307228##
