Story
This cutie patootie is Bronx! One thing you need to know about Bronx is that he is a hap hap happy boy! He finds joy in cheese treats, silly voices, smiling, car rides, pup cups with whipped cream, rolling in the grass, stretching out like a frog, and playing with stuffies. This guy is not high maintenance, we promise! Most of all, Bronx is happy being with his people and making them laugh. He is great with kids and shows them how much he appreciates their attention by giving them the sweetest kisses. If you're feeling not so happy, Bronx will be there to help you through the rough patches by listening to you and putting his excellent snuggle skills to work. He's a very good boy in the home, of course -- Bronx is housetrained and stays out of mischief when you're gone. A perfect gentleman, for sure! Bronx is good on leash, but a fenced yard would be fabulous. Bronx needs to be the only pup in his new home; it cuts down on competition for car rides and pup cups. Bronx would love to meet you! Just call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7287. Bronx is already neutered and is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He's in the KC metro, but transport is available to the right home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Virginia (virginiak@tarasdream.org) for more information about this pet. Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.  Peaches is about a year and a half old, large, ~60 pound, blue brindle pitbull-gorgeous gal. This lady has the best house manners! She is fully house trained, doesn’t seem to want to beg for food while you are eating, and loves to lounge around the house or fall asleep while cuddling on the couch with her humans. Now, this girl does get some energy from time to time and has cases of the Zoomies now and then. She can jump pretty high when she wants too - but then also asks for help getting into the car or on the couch :).    Even when Peaches lets some energy out, she can calm down quickly and does seem to still pay attention to her humans’ commands and treats. Peaches is crate trained, but I wouldn’t say she loves it and prefers her dog bed instead. However, if you would like to crate at night, a milk bone will do the trick and she’ll be a nice patient lady and airing for morning. Peaches’ leash manners need some work.  She has spent a lot of time at the shelter so more exposure and a consistent, patient human to help her realize how to walk on a leash is needed. She can be a bit wild when first on the leash, but when she does calm down, she seems to have a blast outside.   As you can tell by her profile pictures, Peaches likes big dogs that match her energy and play level. Peaches hasn’t had success with smaller dogs. Peaches loves people and wants to be around them as much as possible!  This girl is meant to be a wonderful human’s house hippo/cuddle (big) bug. Please come meet Peaches today!    Approximate Birthdate:   April 2023 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Story
"Well, she's amazing. And adorable. And THE BEST SNUGGLER. She likes to bury herself in blankets on the couch, then get down and run around like a little kid in a ghost Halloween costume. She has had a few canines removed but still chews bones just fine. Her kisses are just a lil extra gummy. She hates storms and will charge out the door barking at the sky like it offended her ancestors if there is thunder." It's Wednesday, a pretty pit bull mix looking for a patient and loving home! She's initially timid with new people and things but is an affectionate, fun pooch once she knows you and settles in. Wednesday will thrive in a home of her own. All it takes is some time and plenty of treats and she'll open up to you and let you into her world. Wednesday will be your loyal companion every single day of the week. Wednesday is staying in the Kansas City metro, but transport is available to the right home. With her adoption, you'll get the ongoing support of The Pet Connection for her training needs! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 any day of the week for more information on Wednesday! #thepetconnectionks #adoptdontshop #adoptWednesdaytoday
