MEET SERSI! - I am in a foster home, please make an appointment to meet me!Are you looking for your very own Moo Deng look-alike? This pygmy hippo has all the adorable appeal of her celebrity look-alike with non of the sass! Sersi is a happy smoosh-tato who enjoys sniffing flowers, meeting new doggy friends, and bathing in the sunshine! She would love to go to a low-key home with or without other pets. She enjoys gentle excercise like a walk around the block, but her real happy place is cuddled up with some blankies on the couch. She can go to a home with other dogs pending a dog meet in the shelter.Sersi is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Sersi or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. MEET ORION! No young children please!Orion is a big love looking for his new home! He is a great hiking or walking buddy with plenty of energy. He`s hoping his new home will have a yard attached for lots of playtime before snuggling up on the couch. He seems to love most dogs and cats he`s met. With him being such a lovebug, he`s not the biggest fan of being left alone and would enjoy having some sort of company when others are out of the house. Despite his big size, he can be fearful of new scary things and even scared of little kids. He will need a bit more patience and time than your average lad, but he`s happy to shower you in affection in exchange. Could he be your perfect one?Orion is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Orion or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. MEET FENDER!Fender is a sweet and smooshy guy described by his foster as an `absolute gem`. He is looking for a quiet home, outside the city, with or without another pup at home. He is still very much a puppy in the best ways, but also has a great foundation with being housebroken and walking well on leash. He is an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog, who loves to think he is a lapdog and will hop right up there on command. He is very active and food motivated. He loved doing dog agility drills and would be a great running partner, great for someone with an active lifestyle. He wants to come with you wherever you go and is happy to be along for every moment. Fender is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Fender or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
