You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- LILLIE IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR A FAMILY TRYING TO REHOME HER. PLEASE FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION AND CONTACT HER CARETAKER  AT:   bronwynerin@gmail.com.    If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then Lillie’s soul is always very happy to see her humans! She loves to jump and do anything else she can to get your attention. All she wants to do is play! She loves balls of all kinds, and will spend hours in a fenced yard playing fetch and running and chasing soccer balls. Lillie loves socks, dirty socks, clean socks, socks fresh out of the package, she is obsessed with socks. She is very smart and treat motivated. She has learned a number of commands since she has been in her current home .  Lillie is completely housebroken, and is very willing to get in her crate whenever she needs to. Her family has worked on leash walking, and she does best with a harness. Lillie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.  Lillie prefers to be the only dog, getting all of the attention, and does not like to share her People or her toys. She also does not do well around small children.  At the end of the day, she does like to cuddle up and lay with you. Please help us find Lillie  a home where she could be your one and only! $100 adoption fee to be donated to Reach Out Rescue. Adoption includes crates, harness, leash, collar. www.reachoutrescue.org Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm

PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Homer is a lovable, snuggly pit with a lot of energy still at 7 years old. He knows basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, come, shake), is used to leashed walks, and loves cuddling on the couch or bed with his humans. He also enjoys giving kisses, scratches behind his ear, belly rubs and playing with toys (although you’ll need indestructible toys haha). Homer is used to being home during the day while we go to work, and he doesn’t have any issues being left alone during the workday. He is up to date on shots and neutered. We can provide a dog bed, food, bowls, leash, etc.    Homer would need to be the only animal in the home (dog reactive most of the time after 10 minutes or so of meeting but can pass them on the street during walks unless they lunge at him), no cats (or would likely be fine with a cat that keeps to itself) and no kids due to resource guarding and a bite incident. The two bites were not large and required glue but not stitches and were related to resource guarding.    A potential adopter would need to have knowledge (or willingness to learn) of resource guarding and the capacity to properly manage it. However, Homer is a sweet dog 99% of the time but just needs an environment suitable to not trigger his resource guarding, which I believe he will thrive in. We have done training through K9 Koncepts, which is supposed to be open for the entirety of Homer’s life, so we could potentially transfer that over to the adopter for free, if interested and after contacting K9 Koncepts to make sure that is a possibility. If you are interested in adopting Homer, please contact:Erica.  email: Erica.cranford11@gmail.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm

Meet Ronnie! Ronnie is a sweet guy who came to us as a stray. Ronnie can be a bit of a scaredy cat at times, but he loves people and always wants to be at someone`s side. We estimate him to be around 10 months old, so he still has puppy energy and would benefit from plenty of playtime in his new home. His favorite toy to play with is a tennis ball! If you`re interested in meeting sweet little Ronnie, he would love to meet you!Ronnie currently weighs 54 pounds and is neutered. If you are interested in meeting Ronnie, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p.
