Story
Meet Junior, a 2-year-old male Pit/Hound mix who is ready to bring boundless energy and joy into your life! This spirited boy is all about fun and play, and he is on a mission to make every day an adventure. Junior’s journey has not been easy—he came to us as a skinny, battered pup with a deeply embedded collar. After months of tender care and healing, Junior is now bursting with vitality and ready to find his forever home. Though Junior still sports a ring around his neck from his past, his resilient spirit shines through. He is an energetic bundle of joy who thrives on activity, so he is looking for an active family with a yard to run in or a schedule that includes regular trips to the park. Junior has made lots of friends here at the shelter and is a joy to have in our doggy play groups! He is very entertaining to watch playing with other dogs as they chase each other, roll around together, and play with toys. However Junior’s youthful exuberance means he might be a bit too boisterous for small children, as he can be mouthy and might inadvertently knock them over in his excitement. Despite his rough start, Junior is a loving, playful pup who deserves a second chance at a happy life. His zest for life and sweet, goofy personality makes him a fantastic companion for anyone ready to embrace his energy and enthusiasm. If you are looking for a loyal, lively friend who is eager to share endless fun and affection, Junior is the perfect match for you! Give this deserving boy the forever home he has been waiting for. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
