Meet Ruger! Age: 9 monthsBreed: Bully MixWeight: 50 lbs Ruger is a sweet and playful 9-month-old bully mix looking for his forever home. Due to a lack of proper socialization in his previous adoptive home, Ruger takes some time to warm up to strangers. He needs experienced owners who are patient and willing to give him the time and space he needs to build his confidence. Key Traits: Crate Trained: Ruger is comfortable in his crate and sees it as his safe space. Potty Trained: No accidents here! Ruger knows to do his business outside. Playful Goof: Ruger loves to play and has a goofy personality that will keep you entertained. Dog Friendly: Ruger would love a doggy playmate! He loves his furry friends! Special Requirements: Fear of Men: Ruger is particularly fearful of men and will need a man who is experienced with dogs and willing to work closely with our trainer. Trainer Support: Our trainer will work with the adopters to ensure Ruger transitions smoothly into his new home. Adopters are expected to follow specific instructions from the trainer to help Ruger thrive. If you have the experience and patience to help Ruger become the confident dog he can be, he will reward you with endless love and loyalty. Are you the right match for Ruger? Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsDoggy Daycare Pro!Faith - our 'Faithy' :-)   Faith is a beautiful, petite, joyful, blonde and caramel pittie mix. At just around 40lbs, she is the perfect medium size girl. She LOVES and ADORES other dogs and needs her best doggy friends at all times. Her best friends are currently Krissy & Tobie, but Faith is a doggy daycare regular and might be the most popular girl in school. She plays with 50+ dogs at doggy daycare, loves to go in the kiddie pools and splash around, but can also just chill and relax in the shade.   At home, Faith loves everything cozy - blankets, cuddling, sleeping in bed with her humans, giving kisses and a good movie night on the couch. However, as soon as daylight hits, she's ready to run around in the fenced backyard with her friends. She is nervous around most men and takes time to warm up to them, but will come around. She will bark at them at first, but is easily persuaded with treats. She loves women.   In Faith's ideal home, she needs another playful, happy dog (or dogs), someone home often and a secure 6' fenced yard. She has been around all sizes and breeds of dogs and does well with all of them. She can be nervous at times, so a home without young children or young children that visit, is best for her so that they don't let her out.   Faith is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Her adoption fee is $250.   Adoption applications for Faith can be done at maxxandme.org. Please follow up with one email to maxxandmerescue@gmail.com to confirm receipt of your application.   Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received. Email us at maxxandmerescue@gmail.com for updates and questions. Thank you for choosing rescue.November 3, 2024, 8:21 pm
