Story
Meatball is a fun young pitty boy who loves the attention and of course loves to play. He is a wiggly boy!! He is only 2 1/2 years old 49LBS and get along with everyone including other dogs. Just happy, happy!! He has been living with many other dogs and has been doing great. This is a note from his foster Mom: He came to us from a multi dog house and fit in immediately. Dominant dogs are not an issue with him, he ignores them but quickly conforms to the scenario. Chasing lizards is his favorite thing to do. So a fenced in yard would be great. Walking on a leash is not a problem; however, he does like to pull occasionally, so a strong parent is best. Occasionally he gets excited and likes to jump on his human friends. We are working on that and making great progress. Treats and food definitely motivate him to behave. He is definitely curious of cats and wants to sniff them. As long as they don't run, he won't chase. So we've introduced him to cats while he is in the crate and he is starting to ignore them. He is the biggest lover and just wants belly rubs from his humans. His bark is basically a grumble and non existent. This "Meatball" will make the best and most loyal companion. if you are interested in a really nice doggy, he is your guy. Please fill out the application online at pets@findahomegiveahome.com under the forms tab. He is up to date and neutered. Crate trained!!! His adoption fee is $100

Story
Ren (1 year old) is a small version of a German Shepherd mix 28LBS - Shelter had her under a year old but might be right around 2 years old. She is not a big dog but has a great personality. We would like an active lifestyle for her. She was abandoned at the shelter. A little note from her foster Mom: Ren is a doll!! She knows how to sit and learns very quickly, is potty trained, and does very well in a crate when needed. She is super friendly and loves being loved on. An absolute sweetheart! She is curious and we love her ears! They matches personality! Great with young kids (she does nip playfully a little, we are working with her to curb that) has loads of puppy energy and loves to play! She is a special girl and will be a wonderful companion dog ❤️ If you are seniors please consider a more mature dog. Her adoption fee is $220- She is fully vetted and spayed. Ren is her real name and she also received a 6 months heartworm prevention shot called Pro heart.

Story
IRIS NEEDS A HOME ASAP- Iris was on death row before she was rescued!!! A note from her foster Mom: Iris a 4 year old, black-brindle pit-terrier mix, and acts like a Queen, because she's all personality and will be your new shadow. I would imagine her to be the BEST emotional support animal for someone struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and/or sensory issues, as she is a 55 pound weighted dog blanket AND she will also be your 'big spoon' if you lay down on the couch and save even an inch of room for her to scooch behind you (complete with her head resting on yours). See pics Iris understands personal space too. She intently looks at you and listens and brings her quiet love and intensity while she shakes her approving tail at you. You are already her favorite person, no doubt. You'll never wonder if you're loved again, you'll see it in her eyes. She would love to sleep in your bed if you'll let her. But she is also crate trained and treat motivated. She is such a good girl when you give her a bath. She loves peanut butter, and actually, I haven't found a treat or toy she doesn't like, and she's perfectly potty trained. When she meets new people she doesn't jump and bark, she quietly inspects to meet them and then wags her tail. She knows how to 'sit' , knows her name, she can fetch and is good at learning how to bring it back and 'drop-it' but also loves playing tug-of-war. She's full of energy, and can run fast. She gets so excited, she leaps at you to catch her arms, because she loves hugs. Unfortunately, I cannot keep her any longer. She would be a great new friend to a submissive and bored older dog who might want to feel the joy of chasing lizards again. She is an Angel. Iris is fully vetted. thanks for rescuing.
