Story
Meet Becca! This beautiful girl is ready to find her forever home! Bonus: we're pretty sure her satellite ears get all the local channels. From her current foster: "Becca has been getting better every day! She loves to play fetch, go in the car, lay in your lap and chew on toys. She is very protective of her people and takes a bit to adjust to new people. She has worked a lot on getting used to men and passing cars. She is just a big puppy that doesn't know how big she is. She settles down in her kennel really good and sleeps all night. Becca is really good at sitting and listening to commands when you have her focus, She really is a love bug!! "We have lovingly nick named Becca as Bumble B. B will come when you call, sit and lay down. She is crate trained (barking/whinning is a test if you will really leave her in there and subsides quickly once comfortable in the home). B LOVES; playing with other dogs, splashing in her water bowl, chasing sprinklers, a good game of tug-o-war, and getting all the attention. She will provide you with tons of love and laughs free of charge. However, B will protect you fiercely. She has stranger danger and does not want anyone in her home that she thinks doesn't belong (A shower does make you a new person, but for only a moment). I would not list her as cat friendly at this time, and with kids I would be cautious. We had one nip (no broken skin) but since then we have had zeros issues biting intentionally. She is still a puppy meaning she can be mouthy, and no toes are not off limits. This silly Bumble B needs someone as special as her. Someone who will take the time to work through her fears, and provide her with the stability/structure she needs! Her previous foster says that "Becca has become a cuddle enthusiast. She's learned "sit and "come. She's still working on potty training but is having fewer and fewer accidents indoors. She sleeps in the bed with us and sleeps through the night with no potty accidents. She chases cars but we're working on that. She's overcome her fear of strangers! She also plays well with other dogs. She will definitely need a home that can provide lots of exercise and stimulation. She's a very smart girl but requires a lot of patience because she's mischievous haha." ADOPTION FEE: $550 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. ADOPTION FEE: $225 (Sponsored) IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Jasmine does not get along with most dogs. She gets overwhelmed meeting new dogs and would do best not meeting other dogs and being the only dog in a home. Jasmine is highly dog selective and would need an adopter understanding and aware that she will not do good in the company of other dogs. She is the BIGGEST love bug and is a large sweetheart who will give you every ounce of her love. Jasmine is a wonderful girl that's an absolute lover! She is food motivated and loves to spread her happiness and love! Jasmine is the perfect princess with her basic obedience and great manners! From her current foster: " Jasmine is doing great! She was a little hesitant of the stairs at first but she's mastered them now! She's the sweetest little cuddle bug who just wants pets forever and ever. From her previous foster: " Jasmine has been the easiest dog I have ever fostered. She's incredibly sweet, super goofy, and loves booty pats and cuddling. Sticking her head out the window is her favorite thing to do, so she loves going on car rides. She's crate trained, very food motivated, and good at basic manners and commands! From her previous foster: "Jasmine is the most precious girl! She is polite and calm but loves to play! She gives big kisses and loves to jump up and give hugs. She is pretty perfect, I didn't even think she could bark until a week after having her. She will howl (sing) with you if you encourage her to as well! She loves snuggles and is super food motivated, making training super easy. Before I picked her up I was warned that she was petrified of stairs and we have made so much progress with that! She is a curious girl who loves adventures and loves splashing around in horsetooth. If you are looking for a dog that will be able to hang out with you in any setting, she is the most perfect. It will be really hard to not immediately fall in love with this girl. From her previous foster: " Miss Jasmine is the SWEETEST. She looks tough but she is the biggest teddy bear. She's learned so much in these two weeks, she responds so well to training. She loves long walks & does well meeting new dogs! Story
Meet Specks! This adorable boy is an absolute delight to be around and is ready to find his forever home! Please note that Specks does not do well with change and will need an adopter who is committed to giving him the time and space he needs to decompress in his new home. He is an absolute lover boy who bonds closely with his people, but needs to have time to understand the situation first. From his current foster: "Specks has a heart full of love and craves every bit of attention you can offer! He's a true cuddle bug who will snuggle next to you all night long. He gets zoomies when he is excited, and he loves to play with his squeaker toys. Though he has some anxieties to work through, his eagerness to please is helping him make great strides in general obedience. With slow introductions and patience, he's on track to become a perfect companion and family addition. Specks does well on the leash and gets along with his new dog friend, Cayde. Overall, Specks is making wonderful progress and is eager to find his forever home where he can share his endless affection. Previous shelter staff notes: The class clown award goes to Specks! He's HYSTERICAL! He LOVES to play with toys and he gets the cutest zoomies! Specks has a HUGE smile and he is sure to keep you laughing with his silly antics! This boy brings a positive energy to any atmosphere and he's a staff favorite with his silly shenanigans! You won't be disappointed in his cutie patootie! From his foster: "lil Specs update from the days he was with me :)) Specs has THE biggest heart and just wants every ounce of love and attention you have! He is the biggest cuddle bug and will sleep next to you all night long! He has some anxieties he needs to work through, but since he's young i have no doubt they will be resolved quickly! with slow introductions and patience he will make the perfect companion for anyone! Specs does great on the leash and is not aggressive towards his kitty friends, however he gets so excited when they come to play that he scares them a bit. Since Specs is a littler nervous and tends to jump he might do best in a household without small children just so he doesn't knock them over! Overall Specs has so much love to give and cannot wait to find his forever person!
