Story
Cosmo is a sweet and affectionate German Shepherd looking for a loving home. He belonged to my late father, but I live on the East Coast in a small apartment and can’t give him the space and care he needs. He had training as a puppy but needs a refresher, especially with house manners. My father left the back door open at night, so Cosmo struggles with a set bathroom routine. He has been staying with my sister in the Sacramento area, living with two Labradors and young kids—he’s been gentle and quickly bonded with them. He loves being part of a pack and would do well in a home with other dogs or an owner who can give him plenty of engagement. This is a heartbreaking decision, but Cosmo deserves a home with someone who can give him the structure, attention, and training he needs. He’s incredibly loyal, loving, and eager to please. He enjoys playing, going on walks, and being around people. If you’re interested in giving Cosmo a great home, please reach out!
