Hello, Meet Sailor she is a sweet pit bull mix , she loves to cuddle and is spunky. We are sad to have to rehome her but our dog does not seem fond of her. She is house broken and is very food motivated, which is perfect, to teach tricks.

Summer days will never end with this carefree pup by your side. 3-year-old Summer likes long walks, splashing in the water, and rolling in the grass. She also likes nibbling on toys, sniffing new smells, and keeping close tabs on her beloved tennis ball. She ignores other dogs in passing but does not like them in close quarters. * Loving personality * Very playful * Adults-only forever home * No other pets in home Here's what Summer's foster mom had to say: * Very sweet! Leans in for scratches. * LOVES balls. She’s great at running during a game of fetch, but hasn’t learned to give the ball back. She’d prefer to chew on it! * Like many salon-phobic pets, she's not crazy about having her paws touched. You'll get a polite little warning snap. Come meet Summer at 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda any day but Monday and Tuesday from noon to 4PM.

"It's pure panic," says our trainer Leah, about his reaction to prospective adopters. "Fleeing on leash, lunging and yanking trying to get away." And yet Cusco is just the best pup, once over that initial hurdle, a warm and loving dog wanting to play, snuggle, and make eyes at you. He loves playing with his trusted dog friends. Here's what his foster mom had to say about Cusco: "We got to have Cusco stay with us for a week, and he’s such a sweet boy! During the day, he liked to play with our other dog, and they ripped up a few toys together. In the evenings, he loved to cuddle on the couch and with our other dog if she would join us. At night, he slept in his crate, and we didn’t hear a peep! He warmed up to me really quickly but was still a little frightened of my husband. Our dog gets jealous, and he was very easygoing with her. Any loud sounds in the house would send him running, but he didn’t have any issues on our walks. He’s going to be such a great family member when he finds his people. He will take a little bit to feel comfortable, but it’s worth the effort!"
