Story
Colby is an energetic, loving dog, but his owner passed away, and he needs a new home. He has a lot of energy, and requires regular exercise. He has lived with kids, dogs, and cats, and has never showed any signs of aggression. He’s a good boy who deserves a good home. • Black Labradoodle • 4 years old • Neutered • Sweet, goofy temperament (no signs of aggression) • Socialized with dogs, cats, children, and adults • Microchipped Behavioral issues: • Separation Anxiety – He likes to be with his people, but is not destructive when left alone • Training – He needs someone to work with him on leash training. He doesn’t have a lot of experience on the leash, and lunges towards other dogs because he wants to play Medical Issues: • Needs to be on special food to prevent diarrhea (Science Diet for sensitive stomachs) • Has an issue with the eyelid in his left eye. It tends to weep, but the Ophthalmologist said it could be probably be managed by keeping the hair around his eyes short.

Story
Welcome to the Ellen Show! Im your host, Ellen! Im a friendly, playful, loving puppy with the cutest face to seal the deal. Even though Im still young, Ive been acing my basic skills training and socialization classes. Im super smart and would love to keep learning new cues, activities, and manners. Im already crate trained, potty trained, and know the basics of being a rockstar puppy citizen. Im still learning to control my energy and enthusiasm when playing with other dogs, so a tolerant and communicative pup pal would be ideal. I would also be happy as an only child with a family that can keep me active and stimulated. Ive shown some cat chasing tendencies, but its mostly playful, so I could learn to live with a dog savvy cat under the right circumstances. Because Im part St. Bernard, you can expect me to continue growing for a while. I might get big, but never too big to cuddle up in your lap and shower you in kisses. If you have a big, scruffy puppy shaped hole in your heart, come meet me and fall in love! I'm in a foster home, so please submit an application at animalaidpdx.org to set up a visit. Est. DOB: 7/8/24Weight: 40lb
