Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Meet MAX, right now a little guy of 17 pounds at 4 1/2 months old but I am not sure if he will stay little.  I think he may be a standard size poodle as his legs are very long and he is so tall to be so young so maybe on the large/medium size.  He has a little patch of white on his chest and a long tail.  He will be getting groomed on Friday, November 8 and we will update the pictures after that. MAX loves little kids, plays relentlessly with the family dog and even tries to play with the cat, such a good all around kid this boy is.  We would love for him to go to a home as a playmate with another dog because he simply loves to play and run zoomies in the backyard.  He would be awfully bored as an only dog and may tend to get into things. MAX will be available to go to his new home after Wednesday, November 20 but we are taking applications now.  If you are interested in adopting MAX, pleasue submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 9, 2024, 10:58 am

Story
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this girl. I took her in last year when she came from a neglected home. She had 7 pups 1 week later and only one survived :( She was terrified but is a well adjusted girl now. She loves to snuggle with me and gives me amazing hugs. Iris is now two years young. I feel she needs to be in her own home where she is the princess. She loves car rides, she will try to sit in your lap as you drive so you need a gate. She can clear a 4 foot fence from a stand. She loves the dog park, and will be protective of your home and family. She is skittish with new things, like putting up a Christmas tree, or moving an A/C, but she gets over it quickly. She loves my cats and will chase them to give them kisses. My cats are not fans of dogs, but they love to tease her! She is afraid of thunder and fireworks, but if you are nearby she is fine.

Story
I regretfully need to rehome Charlie. He had a rough start in life. Charlie is very loveable and cuddly. He thinks he is a lap dog! He has lots of puppy energy and loves to play fetch and go on walks. He has been very easy to train and is very obedient. He knows simple commands & is crate trained and housebroken. He gets along well with other animals, both dogs and cats. He loves to play tug of war with my other dog, a bichon frise. I was really hoping this would work out as Charlie is a very sweet boy, but I have children and due to his first year of mistreatment and neglect with a previous owner, I believe he might do better in a home without children (The original home has 7 children). Most times he is great with kids, so this isn't a deal breaker, just a recommendation. He currently weighs 49 Lbs. He has had his rabies and 5 in 1 vaccine.
