Here's an updated bio for Xena, incorporating all the new details: Meet Xena, the silly and adventurous Labradoodle weighing in at 70 lbs! This playful two year old absolutely loves kids and thrives in an active home where she can explore and play to her heart's content. Xena is house and crate trained and knows basic commands, making her a well-behaved companion. With her boundless curiosity, she enjoys sniffing out new sights and chasing after her favorite toys. Whether she’s leaping through the air to catch a butterfly or rolling around in the grass, her goofy antics never fail to bring a smile. After a fun-filled day of adventures, Xena loves to snuggle up with her humans, showering them with love and affection. Life with Xena is a delightful mix of fun, cuddles, and joy! Xena has recovered from her heartworm treatment and ready to be an active part of your household.

Story
Ava is an active and social dog that weighs about 43 lbs. She will be turning 2 years old this December. Ava is dog-friendly, intelligent, and is popular at the dog park and doggy daycare. Ava loves to play with every dog she meets. Therefore, she would do best in a home with another young dog to play with daily. An active family who is home during the day would be great for her. She can get the zoomies if cooped up for long periods of time. She loves pools, lakes, beaches, and hikes; she’d be a great dog for a family that likes to spend time outdoors. She also loves to play tug-of-war (she’ll probably win!) and fetch. Ava is good with kids but because of her love of zoomies and her playful energy, we recommend kids 12 or older. Ava needs a yard that is fenced. She can jump a 4’ fence easily. The times she has gotten out she stays close by and hasn’t run away; she also has good recall. We haven’t tested her with an electric fence but because she’s so intelligent, we do think she’d learn to use one easily. She is housebroken and isn’t crated when left alone; she has free reign of the house and as long as there isn’t a plate of food left out for her to swipe, she’s fine. She doesn’t particularly like crates but has tolerated them in the past. She can sometimes be hesitant around new people at first, particularly adult men, but will warm up to them quickly. She will make a fun, and loving companion, especially if you are looking for an active, playful fun-loving dog!
