Story
Angel certainly lives up to her name! This sweet and affectionate girl has found herself in need of a new home as her original family could not keep her. She has lived with young children, dogs and cats and does well with them all. She rarely makes a peep and loves to receive affection. She will offer you her paw when she meets you and has the softest eyes and coat! Angel's ideal weight would be around 40 pounds and she has some pounds to shed to get there, so a family committed to a healthy exercise and diet would be ideal.   Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Learn more or begin the application process at paddyspaws.blogspot.com WI Department of Ag License: 527862

** I'M FROM A HOARDING SITUATION. IT WILL TAKE TIME AND PATIENCE FOR ME TO ACCLUMATE TO MY NEW HOME ** ** I NEED TO GO TO A HOME WITH ANOTHER DOG ** Born: January 08, 2021 I am 15lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Meet Cora, a beautiful Sheltie/Corgi mix looking for her forever home. She came to AHS from a difficult situation where people weren’t kind to her, so learning to trust will take time. However, she’s making progress every day. Cora needs a special home with patient, understanding adopters who will give her the time she needs to feel safe. She thrives around other dogs, as they help build her confidence, so a home with canine companions would be ideal. Due to her shy nature, Cora would do best in an adult-only home. Do you have the love and patience to help Cora blossom into the happy, confident dog she’s meant to be? She’s waiting for the right person to show her kindness and help her feel safe at last. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.
