Well, I have been with a family for a little over a year and in need of a new home. Unfortunately, I cannot get along with one of the other dogs in the house. I’m a really good dog, but have a history of being abused in my former home. I need to find a calm environment. Ideally, no kids (as I can be a little nippy due to some prior injuries). I would probably do better as an only dog, but I’ve been ok with small dogs. I’m always up for a good belly rub and a hug. Story
Adorably, fluffy and fun loving Griffin was adopted from a shelter in Arkansas. He had a long history of LOVING the Scooby Snacks a little too much and found himself needing to make some new years resolutions. Over the last year he was able to drop 19lbs! With this new found confidence, has also grown a urge to sit high on the thrown as the ONLY adoring pet in the home. As a result, his family reached out to LHS to help find him a home that can give him all the one on one love and attention he deserves in a home where he is the only doggie on board.  Griffin is housebroken and can be trusted to have free roam of the home. He would do best in a home with older respectable kiddos. He is very friendly and above all, wants nothing more than to be your best buddy! He has been neutered, is brought current on vaccinations, he is heartworm negative and microchipped. All he needs now is a forever home to call his own. If Roscoe had been in High School, he would have been Mr. Congeniality and probably Valedictorian too. He has a huge personality, loves people and knows no stranger and is very smart on top of that. What more can you ask for! This young man is an all around super star. Why he found himself without a home is a mystery, but we will certainly make sure we will find him the best one ever for the rest of his life. Can it be yours? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive.
