Story
Meet Zoey, a 23-pound, 12-year-old Sheltie girl with a serene disposition. This quiet companion adores naps, indulging in delicious meals, and the occasional belly rub. Fully potty trained and crate trained, Zoey is a low-maintenance sweetheart. While she may have cataracts, she navigates her surroundings with grace and still enjoys car rides and park adventures. Zoey's ideal home is on the first floor, as stairs aren't her forte. She thrives as the only dog in the household and prefers the company of older teenagers or adults. Zoey has a unique personality. Territorial about her bed, she'll need understanding owners who respect her space. She may be cautious around strangers, necessitating proper introductions to avoid growling. Despite her quirks, Zoey is a loving companion ready to fill your home with warmth and charm. Are you the patient and caring adopter who can provide Zoey Brooks with the peaceful forever home she deserves? Zoe Brooks' adoption fee is WAIVED TO THE RIGHT HOME. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
What Junior`s foster parents have to say about him -- Approximate age: About 5 yearsApproximate size: 45-50 lbsGood with dogs? Yes once he warms upCats? Hasn`t been tested yetKids? Hasn`t been tested yet, but think he`d be fine with themHow are they doing with potty training? He`s decent, but we do still catch him trying to mark in the house. It is getting much better though. How are they doing in their crate? He HATES the crate and will tear himself up trying to get out of it.Energy level? Couch potatoAny issues with guarding? Not that we`ve noticedLeash reactivity? He does react to other dogs on the leash at times. I think it all stems from him being attacked and he tries to get his bluff in early. He`s not a mean dog at all.Fearful? Not that we`ve noticedAggression? Wouldn`t call it aggression, but he does seem to try and pick on the new dogs who have arrived here after him. We correct him and he`s been fine with them.Separation anxiety? Yes. He does not like to be away from you/contained. He will scratch the door if he`s shut in the room without you. We leave him uncrated downstairs when we leave and he does fine. He does have Buddy and Autumn with him, so he`s not alone. Anything else you’d like to add?Junior is the biggest cuddle bug you`ll meet. This boy wants to be curled up in your lap (or beside you because he`s not tiny) as much as he possibly can. He is your shadow when you`re home and will be wherever you are. He is a pretty lazy boy, but has started engaging with the other dogs to play here and there. His perfect home would be with someone who`s retired or works from home. He loves to be on the couch/in bed with you, so a family who doesn`t mind dogs on the furniture is a must. I think he enjoys having the other dogs around, but a home with another dogs isn`t a must for him.

Story
Sophie is an 8 year old, 60lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.hhfrescue.org. Thank you for considering a rescued dog!
