Microchipped and heartworm negative.2️⃣ Rescue Story Coffee was originally rescued from a slaughterhouse in Gimje and was placed on a euthanasia list shortly after entering the Gimje City Shelter. Adogs rescued her just in time, and after much patience, she opened her heart and was adopted. However, after two years, Coffee was heartbreakingly returned to us. She is now bravely waiting once more for a forever family who will never let go of her hand.3️⃣ Basic Information With People: Is naturally shy, but if you give her enough time to sniff and explore, she will eventually approach you first and accept your touch. Once she feels safe, she turns into a complete "lovebug" who seeks out affection and cuddles! With Dogs: Generally gets along well with her center friends, though she may occasionally growl if she feels uncomfortable. With Cats: No prior experience meeting cats. Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as she is currently in a group setting. Training will be necessary once she moves into a home. Potty Training: Currently uses indoor potty areas at our center. Hygiene: With someone she trusts, she stays still and patiently endures brushing and nail trimming, even if she feels a bit stiff. Walks: Absolutely loves her walks and is a wonderful walking partner! Car Sickness: Unknown, observation will be needed. Has no aggression, but in scary situations (like a vet visit), she may exhibit defensive mouthing out of fear. Hasn't shown any unnecessary barking or whining at our center. Training will be necessary once she moves into a home. Loves being petted by her favorite people, enjoys her walks, and is very motivated by treats. Feels uncomfortable when strangers approach too suddenly. Building trust is the most important first step. Has also shown fear during visits to the vet. Knows several commands including "Sit," "Nose-in," "Paw," "Chin-V," "Nose," and "High-five." * Is a sensitive and intelligent girl. While she needs a patient adjustment period to feel secure, she rewards that patience by becoming the brightest, most affectionate companion. Is looking for a family that understands the beauty of building a deep, trusting bond.
