You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Maverick! Maverick is just a baby who is still learning what being a dog is all about and is catching on very quickly. Whether it’s cats or dogs, if it’s got fur and it moves, Maverick automatically wants to play with it. This can be frustrating for senior dogs, while younger dogs will think that it’s great. Maverick likes to play with toys but gets easily distracted by the brand new world that is waiting for him to explore. Because Maverick is still learning manners, he would fit best in a home with older children. While he does well with not jumping on his foster mom, it is possible that he could accidentally knock a smaller child down. Overall, Maverick is pretty gentle and likes to snuggle with his foster mom from time to time. Maverick is a 3.5 month old smooth coat collie mix best guess, super cute, playful, gentle. Neutered, shots, microchipped, on heartworm and flea prevention. Crate training underway, working on house training. Maverick has mastered the doggy door. Good with dogs and cats, should be kid friendly. He would love a big dog buddy who likes to wrestle & wants a snuggle buddy. Current weight 16.8#. Very soft coat. I am fostering him for Save a Stray.
