Meet Belladonna. This 2 and a half to 3 year old poodle schnauzer mix weighs 8.5 lbs and has a delicate and sensitive soul. Belladonna was surrendered to us after her previous owners daughter developed severe allergies and she is now looking for a quiet and understanding home where she can feel safe.She is a nervous girl and may offer to bite when she feels uncomfortable or overwhelmed so she will need a patient adopter who can respect her boundaries and help her build trust at her own pace. Once she is comfortable Belladonna shows her sweet side and enjoys gentle companionship.She is particular about her meals and prefers a variety of foods served on a plate instead of in a bowl. She has done well around our calm lobby dogs though she can become overwhelmed by too many or by very energetic pups.Her adoption fee is 450. Belladonna would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who understands that love can take time and who is willing to give her the space she needs to blossom.What is included with adoptionSpay and neuter Microchip All required vaccinations Blood and fecal tests along with treatment if needed Flea tick and heartworm prevention Free wellness exam within 7 to 10 days from the day of adoptionTo adopt you must be 21 or older and live within an hour of our facility.Do you have any questions or would you like to set an appointment?

Stella’s journey has been tough—she was surrendered to us after a door accidentally fell on her and broke her leg. Sadly, her previous owner couldn’t afford the surgery she needed, but made the selfless decision to surrender her so Stella could get the care she deserved.Our vet determined the best option was to amputate her leg, and since then Stella has healed beautifully. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains the sweetest, most well-behaved little girl.
