Story
Arthur is a sweet boy who needs a home that can meet his needs. I adopted him at 12 wks old from a rescue. He originally came from a puppy mill. I was married and lived in a big home with a fenced-in back yard. A little less than I year later I was getting a divorce and moved into a small apartment. It has become very clear after a year of trying that apartment living is hard on my buddy. He needs more exercise than I can provide or afford to provide. He needs experienced owners, who understand. The old English sheepdog side. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. He is strong and pulls hard on walks (we walk several times a day). He is good with other dogs after getting to know them and does exhibit some toy aggression but after some time he calms down, or he just destroys the toy. He needs a 6ft fenced in yard or a farm. He also has the characteristic OES glass breaking bark but if he’s with you he’s happy. He’s a very good boy and deserves a home that can provide what I can’t.

Special Note: These pups will likely have long hair that requires weekly brushing to prevent mats and quarterly grooming to keep their coats healthy. As Shepadoodles, they have minimal shedding, but aren't 100% non-shedding. Get to know Wilma: Wilma's a simple gal, a southern belle, and currently recovering from a bad injury- she was found outside a "car repair" place.... they didn't know how to repair a puppy so she was taken to the rescue after she was found. It was a really scary and sad situation but for Wilma, it started her REAL life- one of love and eating regularly and having HOPE! She's an absolute cutie with her scruffy ears and few spots on her white coat. She has a pretty smile and loves to wag her tail. The rescue people think Wilma is a Standard Poodle/Sheepdog mix... she has such a wonderful and outgoing personality. She is great with all people she meets and the smile she shares will melt everyone's heart, so be prepared!!! She'll be living a bit more laid back right now as her recovery process progresses. No high energy play or crazy activities. But that won't be for long!!! She is still a pup and now that she is fixed up and fed well and LOVED by the rescue people, she has LOTS OF FUN and LOTS OF ENERGY :) Local adoption fee is $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
