Meet Sophia, a vibrant 5-year-old standard poodle who weighs about 45 lbs and is bursting with sweetness. This petite bundle of joy loves showering her family with kisses and snuggles, believing she's the ultimate lap dog. When you arrive home, Sophia greets you at the door with unbridled enthusiasm. With a little routine, she's housebroken, and if you're not quick enough, she'll use a potty pad. Having grown up with canine companions, Sophia thrives in their company, but her prey drive kicks in when she spots small animals in the yard. Though she'll dash out to do her business, she's been known to clear a 4ft fence if she's determined. As a strong and excitable walker, Sophia needs some retraining to become your perfect strolling buddy - a challenge that's entirely achievable with patience. Initially shy, Sophia now sleeps soundly anywhere, often upside down, and has even claimed her spot on the bed. While she's experienced a few seizures, recent tests show no underlying cause, and their infrequency means medication isn't necessary. Sophia's a treat-lover who'll sit and offer her paw, and she's mastered the adorable poodle punch to get your attention. With her sunny disposition and boundless love, Sophia is ready to brighten her new family's life.
