Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows "sit", "stay", "heel" and "come", and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Story
Meet Theodore! He came into rescue as an owner surrender when they could no longer provide the time and care he needed. Theo is an adorable 4-5yr old male who is good with dogs, cats and children (was living with a 10yr old & 6yr old). Did we mention he is also crate trained? Theo needs & deserves an owner with breed experience. His coat is a work in progress and while it is improving, it will be important that his new family continue to keep him on high quality food, supplements, etc. He weighs approximately 60lbs although his ideal weight is closer to 50-55lbs. Theo has experienced rectal prolapse in the past and is currently on an Rx diet which he may need to remain for the duration of his life so please only apply if you are committed to continuing this plan for him.  We promise he is worth it! Theo is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccines.  He is fostering in Portland, OR.November 7, 2024, 3:36 pm
