Story
Meet George! He’s a tan Shar Pei with light tan eyes, born in 2017 and purchased from a breeder. He’s AKC registered, microchipped, and has never bred. George is fully house-trained and can hold his potty for up to 9 hours without accidents. He usually sleeps in his dog bed but loves to snuggle with his owner or children occasionally. He has a thing for pillows and blankets, often rearranging them to get comfortable. Like most Shar Peis, George can be a bit stubborn, so he may need a few reminders to come when called. He enjoys going outside, especially in cooler weather, but isn’t a fan of the heat and can get overheated quickly, so he like to being inside with it is hot. Unfortunately, due to moving into a rental where dogs aren’t allowed, I’m looking to rehome George as soon as possible. He deserves a loving home where he can thrive!

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Skye is a 3-year-old, 45 lb Shar-Pei/Pit Bull mix who is looking for her forever home. Skye loves to be with her people and would thrive with a family that wants to give her lots of love and continue her basic training. She is very loving with people and loves to play ball in the yard. Skye is active but also likes to lounge. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights cuddling on the couch. She gives the best hugs. She has been in the kennel environment for some time and will need a family that can continue training with her, she knows sit and will work for treats! Skye is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only dog in the home and would be best suited in a standalone home with a fenced yard. No apartment or city life for her. With training and support her reactivity could definitely improve. No cats or small critters. We are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, Skye can jump when she is excited and is still learning manners! Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.

We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Story
Winifred is a friendly 2 year old bulldog that can be very calm and relaxed but also still gets the zoomies too. Her foster has learned some things about her that she wants to share. When she first came into rescue we were told she was deaf, could have some vision concerns and didnt get along with other dogs. Well her foster has learned that she can have bulldog selective hearing, but responds really well to quiet stern guidance. As for vision she can see most things and gets around well, but sometimes gets startled if she doesnt see you coming or expect someone to touch her. As for not getting along with other dogs, she likes all her dog friends that are easy going, laid back and dont get in her face. She tends to back off and not want to walk near dogs that are hyper, pushy, or get in her face, this may be due to her vision issues. She would do fine with an older senior or another calm dog. Winifred walks very nicely on a leash and goes potty really well outside on leash, but wants to do her business and go back in quickly if its cold or raining out. She is not a big fan of crates and if stuck in one will tend to mentally shut down. She does much better in a closed off area like a laundry room or x-pen where she can have space until she knows the rules of the house or if she needs she needs to be contained for any reason. She absolutely loves car rides and is a fantastic copilot! She was made for life on the road, and loves it!
