Story
Sawyer is a “Pocket Bully” born in September 2018 with a cleft lip, cleft palate, and spina bifida. He is currently eating and drinking safely on his own and we don’t believe his cleft lip/palate will require any surgical intervention. Sawyer will always need a little extra supervision to make sure he doesn’t eat anything dangerous for him, and will never be able to safely eat wet or goopy foods like canned food, peanut butter, yogurt, or any other liquids other than water. But otherwise he is expected to live a long, healthy life. The spina bifida causes Sawyer to be incontinent and to have some weakness in his back legs. He can walk and get around very well, but he will be in diapers for the rest of his life. He is a very happy, spunky pup and is friendly with humans and other dogs. He needs a committed home willing to give him the extra care he needs to thrive. Sawyer has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is also micro chipped. Story
Turnip is a senior boy with a heart full of love and a calm, happy demeanor. This sweet and gentle soul enjoys exploring the world at his own pace and is fantastic on a leash—no pulling, just leisurely strolls by your side. He’s unfazed by other animals and takes everything in stride. With his respectful manners inside the home, Turnip is the perfect companion. He loves a good scratch and snuggle, and after a nice walk and some affection, he’s content to curl up in his crate for a well-earned nap. Turnip’s happy disposition and easygoing nature make him a wonderful addition to any home looking for a loyal, loving friend to share life’s simple pleasures.
