Huey is young and therefore has a lot of energy. He loves attention and to be kept busy. Huey is active, smart, and loves kids and other dogs. He sees every new face as a potential playmate. He would do best in a home with another play mate or an active family. At the facility he has staff and volunteers that have spent extra time with him in training, teaching commands and helping him take out all his pent-up energy. Huey is always ready for a walk, run, hike or a training session. Extremely treat motivated and very focused of what`s being asked of him to do. Huey still needs more training, but he is an amazing dog. He loves to please his person and would love to have a job. His perfect home would be one with one or two people that are very active and super involved in his training or a family that has the time to take him on walks and keep his mind and body active. He won`t do well in a house that wants a couch potato dog or calm dog. He needs stimulation to be calm afterwards. He was born in Jan 2020 and is located at the rescue. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. He loves ALL dogs, especially ones that want to run, play and wrestle. Beau Tie loves to be near his humans at all times. Whether you're working from home, watching TV, or just going about your day, he will be right there, wanting to cuddle or just hang out. He would do best with other dogs in the house OR he would thrive in a home where he gets the love and attention he craves, and in return, he’ll be your most loyal, loving companion. We are not too sure how he does with cats, but we can do a cat test with him, if you are interested in adding Beau Tie to your family.
