Story
Why hello wonderful world! They call me Ranger around here, but my friends have given me so many nicknames it's hard for me to keep track! I started off life in a pretty crummy place but one day, that all changed! My foster mama took me home and introduced me to living inside, being clean, having friends and food and treats and toys...boy, I am one grateful little dude! I live with my big grumpy foster sister and my big playful foster brother. I love them both and have learned so much from them! I am great in a kennel and sleep all night without a peep. I have never had a potty accident inside at home, but I'm not old enough to be trustworthy just yet! Foster mom is a veterinary technician, so I get to go to work with her every day. I've made so many dog friends and there's even been another foster puppy for me to play with! All the staff think I'm the sweetest puppy ever, instead of going nuts playing and wrestling, I enjoy asking for cuddles and kisses in your lap. Now don't get me wrong, I love a rough and tumble, but I definitely want a human family that will give me lots of cuddles. No one can figure out what I am, especially because my ears have a mind of their own! They've been calling me a sharp-shep (my neck is super wrinkly like a shar pei, but my fur is soft and my face looks somewhat like a German shepherd!) I'm probably going to be a medium sized dog when I'm done growing, but we'll just have to see what happens! If you're looking for a laid back love bug that's great with others and doesn't need too much stimulation, look no further, I'm your boy! Ranger is a Male Shar-Pei/Shepherd that we estimate to be born around 5/23/2024. As of 10/12 he weighed 25 lbs.
