We got Zakai February 2024 as a puppy. Our previous Shar Pei passed away, and Zakai played a big role in helping our family heal. We have 2 young boys (5 & 1) and my wife is now pregnant with our 3rd. With the new addition we feel it’s better to re-home Zakai with a family that can give him more attention and keep up with his high energy. He loves to play fetch, running outside, and lots of love.

Toffee: •Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever mix •6 months old •35lbs •Spayed female •Dog friendly •Working on potty and crate training •So wrinkly and cute! Toffee is a chill, cuddly, affectionate 6 month old Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever mix who loves being pet, playing, and chilling around the house with you! Her default position is sitting next to you waiting for pets, no matter where you are. Toffee is a petite girl at only 35lbs and she's not expected to get much bigger (50lbs max)! Toffee was found as a stray and taken to our local high kill shelter where she (somehow) landed on the euthanasia list for space and lack of adoption interest. We're not sure why no one paid her any attention, as she's obviously got the cutest wrinkles and sweet face! With the shelter being so overcrowded, dogs usually don't get very long to find placement and Toffee was put on the euthanasia list not long after arriving at the shelter. Luckily, we were able to save her and she's been the best little rescue guest ever! Toffee is more of the shy side when she first meets new people, but she seems to warm up pretty quickly. She likely didn't have a great life before coming to us (as is the case with most of our pups), and she is pretty timid and shrinks back at sudden movements due to this. She is gaining more confidence each day and is steadily coming out of her shell, but she will need a patient adopter who is understanding of her shy nature and is willing to work with her to build up her confidence. Once she gets used to you and her surroundings, Toffee is a rather calm girl who would rather nap at your feet than partake in the usual puppy shenanigans that come with her age. She enjoys playing with other dogs but is more people and affection oriented than anything. She tends to be more on the dominant side with other dogs but gives and takes corrections well. She's a pretty easy girl to get along with! Toffee is working on her crate and potty training and is doing well in her progress with each. She's a smart little cookie who can learn a lot with the right training! Toffee is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

He loves to play with all of his little dog friends, and when they have had enough , he keeps busy with his chew toys. He loves to be held at nap time and sleeps well in his kennel at bedtime. He is working on potty training and does very well if you stay on top of it. He is very food motivated. He knows several commands already, including sit, kennel, and shake. He is learning to come when called but still gets distracted at times. He does great with other dogs and really wants to be friends with cats. He is learning to walk on a leash but likes to be in control of where he's going. His foster thinks he would do amazing in training. Zillion is in a foster home with other dogs that he does well with. We are looking for a family where any children are over the age of 10 years old and someone is home a majority of the time. Please consider making this gorgeous boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. My name is Isabella, Im a Boxer/Blue heeler mix. Im almost 3 years old. I have alot of energy. Im a working dog but dont have many jobs to do with the family i have now. I havent had much training but I have lots of potential. I would do well on some land as I love to run or have an owner that enjoys the outdoors. I love the dog park and love to swim. I enjoy car rides. I have some cat siblings but I like to chase them away. I would love another big dog to play with as the little ones I tend to run over Im good with kids but a little shy at first.
