Huey is young and therefore has a lot of energy. He loves attention and to be kept busy. Huey is active, smart, and loves kids and other dogs. He sees every new face as a potential playmate. He would do best in a home with another play mate or an active family. At the facility he has staff and volunteers that have spent extra time with him in training, teaching commands and helping him take out all his pent-up energy. Huey is always ready for a walk, run, hike or a training session. Extremely treat motivated and very focused of what`s being asked of him to do. Huey still needs more training, but he is an amazing dog. He loves to please his person and would love to have a job. His perfect home would be one with one or two people that are very active and super involved in his training or a family that has the time to take him on walks and keep his mind and body active. He won`t do well in a house that wants a couch potato dog or calm dog. He needs stimulation to be calm afterwards. He was born in Jan 2020 and is located at the rescue. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. Cammie is fostered in Huntsville, Tx. She was found as a stray on the streets of Houston. She is 6 years old and weighs 49lbs. She has skin allergies that can be managed by diet. She is house trained, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations and spayed. Due to her being unpredictably dog selective and actively seeking out other dogs, she will need an only dog home to live out her golden years. Cats are unknown. She is very low maintenance physically. She will do a good bout of zoomies once a day, nibble your ears, then be the best snuggle buddy you could ask for.

Cici is a 40 pound-ish firecracker. She is very dog selective, so would be best in a home where she is the only one being adored. She does fine with the littles but will match and exceed their energy. She is about 2 yrs old. She was very timid/scared initially but soon settled in foster care. She is house broken and will sit for treats. Loves to have snuggles & belly rubs. She pulls a bit on leash and is not suitable for cats/small furries. We don't know what her story was before rescue, but we can imagine it based on her scars. Her new chapter started when she was rescued from a Houston Animal Shelter.
