Tuesday is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on monthly preventatives—she’s all set for her forever home! Tuesday may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, her fun and spunky personality shines through. She loves to play and explore once she feels safe and secure. She does well with other dogs, but slow introductions are a must as she adjusts. Due to some food aggression, Tuesday will need to be fed separately from other pets in the home. With proper structure and care, she’ll thrive! Tuesday is the perfect mix of compact and cute, and she’s looking for a home that will give her the time, understanding, and love she deserves. ##2362379##

Meet Betsy! She is a 3 yr old female Chinese Shar-Pei/Mastiff mix that weighs 80lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 3/28 as a stray. This precious girl has been through so much in her young life. She has been overbred, skin infection, ear infection, small growth on her left lip, and appears she has lived outside and hasn`t been treated well. She has been to the vet and is pending their report. In her eyes she looks defeated, but we are spending time with her to show her love she so rightly deserves. She even pulled out a toy from the toy box to play with. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and doesn`t show any interest in other dogs. She is gentle and enjoys being petted. Sadly at times she will flinch when being petted. The more time I spent with her the more comfortable she became. She will need a hero that sees that she has some health issues, with meds, good food, and showering her with plenty of love, will love you to the moon and back.
