Hello, my name is Mick. I am a Shar pei mix and 9 months old. I came from WV with a broken hip. I had my surgery and now I am doing amazing. I also got neutered and microchipped. I live with a foster furr brother and furr sister. I need slow introductions when being introduced. I love playing with my foster brother so much. My sister is old so she doesn't play but I sure do try. I don't sleep in a crate but have my safe area where I sleep during the night. I don't make any noise and am such a good boy at bedtime. When I need time away, I curl up in my bed and snuggle. My foster mom says I have a cute wiggly butt with a cute dance I do when I see her. I can't help it. I love her and get excited. My foster dad is amazing too. It took a little longer to warm up to him but I am so thankful he allowed me to warm up on my time. I am working on housetraining but doing great. I do have some puppy energy but can chill out as well. My perfect home would be with a family who is patient and has a furr sibling I can play with. I could be an only dog but prefer a furr sibling. I also recommend older kids like teens or an adult only home. When being introduced to new people, I can get very nervous so slow introductions would be appreciated. I am great on a leash and love walks. I would love a fenced in yard so I can run around and get my energy out but its not neccessary. Could you be my forever family? ##2541450##

Hi I’m Marabell! I am a 9-month-old Shar-Pei. I am the perfect medium size at almost 40lbs and I won’t get much bigger. My story started in a hoarding situation then an outside pen at a shelter. Now I am living the good life in a foster home. I’ve discovered the joys of napping in soft places and sunbathing in the grass. I’ve learned that toys are fun and belly rubs feel great! My foster mom says I’m a smarty pants! I picked up house training and sitting for treats quickly and I do great in my crate. I am still learning to trust that new people and new dogs are safe so I need a family who will be patient with me. I get too excited around little humans so I am looking for a home without kids. I am getting the hang of going for walks but I would love a fenced yard to play in while I work on being brave. I am a very athletic girl and with more training and confidence I would make an excellent adventure companion. After getting my energy out, I love to spend my evenings snuggling. Who's better than the rest-y? That's right, it's me, Betsy! I am a cool Chinese Shar-Pei mixed female with a Tuxedo colored coat and white socks! My facial features even have a cool black and white coloring to them too! I was rescued from a bad hoarding situation alongside my siblings, thing's weren't looking good for us. But our big-hearted rescuers saved us and got us on the road to better care and living great lives! Betsy likes to chew on big bones, occasionally wiggle her ears around, and bark at squirrels. Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! This is Dani: This spunky girl has so much character! If you look at her videos when she’s trying to play she does this thing where she shakes her head. She sometimes looks like she’s telling me what’s up cause how she does her head nods. She jumps up with excitement like a very tiny bull. She runs around with confidence and loves to explore. The dogs barking at her don’t seem to bother her. Loretta is an affectionate, intelligent dog. She is housebroken, crate trained and knows basic commands. She is spayed and up to date with vaccines. She is about one and a half years old and weighs about fifty pounds. She loves people and is great with children but needs supervision around small children due to her exuberance. I adopted her from a shelter where she was abandoned in the parking lot after hours. I am heartbroken to have to rehome her but she will not allow my cats access to me. She has not harmed them but she chases them away. She is tolerant of other dogs outside but not in the house. She is a wonderful dog but should probably be an only pet. I will include her kennel, bed and all supplies I currently have on hand. If you have room in your home and heart for an amazing dog, please consider adopting Loretta.
