Say hello to beautiful Phoebe!  Phoebe was surrendered to a vet office in South Shreveport, Louisana.  She is believed to be a Shar Pei mix and is estimated to be 1 to 2 years old.  The vet staff says that Phoebe is super duper sweet and very docile and  dog social. She has been around children with absolutely no issues.  This sweet girl is up to date with her vaccines and heart worm negative.  The rescue is accepting applications for Phoebe now.  Her adoption fee is $400 which goes towards her vaccines and medical care up to adoption, spaying at our vet, microchip and transportation fees. ##2268121##

Say hello to little Hawk!  Hawk is a 12 week old male puppy.  He is a mix of Shar Pei and Beagle.  Hawk was surrendered to the rescue with 6 siblings as the owner was unable to care for them anymore and couldn't find them a home.  Hawk has puppy energy and will need a home with adopters who have the time to devote to puppy training and socialization.  He is in foster care and will be working on potty and crate training, he loves his food and playing with toys.  Hawk has started his vaccinations and will eventually be neutered.  He does very well with his 3 foster sibling pups and the cat.  Fill out an application today to get this adorable little boy!  Hawk's adoption fee is $500 which goes towards neutering at the rescue's vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and costs associated with fostering. ##2300204##

Gus has joined our rescue after having a very rough start to his life.  He is a male Shar Pei about 2-3 years old now weighing 50 lbs. after gaining weight.  He is living with 3 other male/female dogs, sometimes he needs correction when he plays to rough. Gus gets zoomies when he gets exited.  Being affectionate and protective of his food provider he enjoys snuggling in his fosters lap as long as she allows. Gus Gus as he is also called absolutely loves to watch cooking shows on tv.  Meeting new people makes Gus nervous and slow meets are a must especially with very tall dark haired men.  He is not a fan of small closed spaces and a crate is not used since he becomes destructive. Gus loves food and all treats.  He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside.  He is up to date on vaccines but will need to be neutered and entropion surgery on his eyes.  Adoption fees go toward medical costs and foster care.  ##2251733##

Unfortunately she didn't have a good life as was found taking cover and hiding out in the bathroom stalls at the Missions baseball field. Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!!
