Story
Boba came to us from the Yonkers Animal Shelter just a short while ago and already we've seen such a change in him! He was shut down and scared there, avoidant of human contact, but once we took him out of the kennel and brought him to a foster home, he became a whole new dog! Boba is now friendly, loves to be pet and brushed, does great with the other dogs in his foster home, and appears to be housebroken and crate trained. He will soon be tested with cats, but we think it's likely he would do just fine with them as well! We are looking to place him in a home without young children at this time. Because he has a history of being nervous with veterinary handling, we suggest he be muzzled for all vet visits, but he has been trained to wear a basket muzzle comfortably so it can be as stress free a process as possible for him! Boba is ready to begin the next chapter in his life, so apply to adopt him today at waywardranch.org!

UPDATE: Welcome Brutus to CHBR! Thank God this sweet fella made it out of Texas and is with a CHBR foster. Brutus is visually impaired but that doesn’t stop him from being the love bug he is and navigating his space like a champ! He LOVES his people and is dog friendly..he would be ok as an only child as well.  Brutus is only a baby, younger than originally thought, maybe 2-3 and looking for a forever home. Please welcome Poppy to  CH Boxer Rescue ! Poor Poppy was surrendered to CH when her owners moved and could not take her to their new home. She was completely devastated being dumped by the only family she knows. Poppy is adjusting to life in a foster home.
