Clover is our lucky charm of the rescue, we can`t believe we lucked out with helping this sweet girl! We believe Clover would do amazing in a home with littles or seniors, she enjoys the love and pets from any age! She did so well in our kennel managers car during her transfer process, she defines the word chill. Like most other pups Clover thrives on treats and stuffed toys, she would really like a place for all her toys to go! Clover`s adoption fee is sponsored! Her adopter will not need to pay an adoption fee to take her home. We are so grateful to the Oltmann`s for this donation as well as her previous foster parent. Age: 4 YearsOther Dogs: Not at this time. Clover will need time to decompress before interacting with other dogs. Cats: with supervision and training we think that she could live with cats. Kids: Yes! We think she will do well with kids and in a semi active to active home with seniors. She loved spending time with one of volunteers littles, they `had the best time with her.` Weight: 45 pounds, she`s already gained 10 pounds with us but will need to gain a couple more.Leash behavior: Walks fairly well on leash. Occasionally pulls but is responsive.Home Type: Semi active- Active. Would be great for a family where someone works from home or is retired and active!If you are interested in adopting Clover please fill out our online application. Zora is a spunky young female boxer. She came into rescue from a local shelter, and before that she lived her entire life in a fenced yard with her littermate.Zora is very playful and exuberant, and loves all kinds of toys. But the thing she loves most is being petted and snuggling with her dog brothers and foster humans.She is completely housetrained, rides perfectly in the car, and walks well on leash with no pulling (see below for exceptions). Zora is working on her house manners and crate training but is extremely bright and learns quickly.Because she wasn't exposed to other dogs and new people, she is reactive to both. However, she can be redirected using treats and responds well to praise. Zora would do best with a well-adjusted/socialized male dog. She loves rough housing with the foster family's 80lb American Bully mix, and is fine with their older male Pug (Zora is somewhat more interested in playing with him than he is in playing with her [🙂] ).The foster family doesn't have any cats or smaller pets, but Zora has shown some prey drive when on hikes. This indicated that she may not be ok with smaller pets, birds, or cats. Dog-savvy, respectful children should not be an issue.Boxer experience (specifically female/puppy) highly recommended. Well-adjusted/socialized male dog of similar size required. Betty is a complete mess! But she is so special and personable, she is the most beautiful soul - inside as well as out.Betty was scheduled for euthanasia. For no reason other than a skin condition. She was missing 90% of her fur, itchy, covered in wounds and scabs. She is looking and doing better, she is on a hypoallergenic food and sees a doggie dermatologist to see if there is anything else we should or could be doing for her. She loves cuddles and bum scratches and is looking forward to having her own fur back so she no longer has to wear sweaters and coats!Betty is so special and personable, she is the most beautiful soul - inside as well as out.Betty was scheduled for euthanasia. Bigger dogs I'm learning to get along with but I'm picky. I love my fresh fruit and veggies as I love food but I have certain allergies to things. I'm working on growing out my hair slowly I'm just a little prickly but I love having my shirts and sweaters for winter as they help me look beautiful, don't let that scare you that I'm a little bald. I walk well on the leash unless I get excited then I tend to pull towards what I want. I would love to find a home where I'm the only one who gets attention as I do get a little jealous but I can share if I have to.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
