This gentle girl may be a little cautious at first, but with a little patience (and a treat or two), she’ll be warming up to you before you know it. Since leaving the shelter, Aimee has become so much more relaxed, and her loving, loyal nature truly shines. Within an hour of meeting someone new, she’ll be right by your side, nudging for attention and happy to cozy up next to you. Aimee is kennel trained, gets along well with other dogs, and would be a great fit for a multi-pet household. She’s also wonderful with kids, especially those over 10, as her excitement sometimes leads to playful jumping. She adores soft stuffed animals to chew on and may let out a little howl when she’s extra happy. Aimee enjoys a few walks each day, and she’s always excited to go outside and explore. Check out this cute video of her sitting for a treat. With just a little time and love, she’ll bring joy, companionship, and that special kind of loyalty only a dog like Aimee can offer. I’m a polite, sweet girl who’s ready to start my new adventure! I know how to *sit* and *down*—pretty impressive, right? I’m a quick learner, and I’m excited to show you what else I can do! I ride AMAZING in the car, like a true road trip buddy. I’m calm and relaxed, so whether it’s a short drive or a long one, I’m ready to go. I’ve been very respectful when it comes to food. Even though I love dog treats (yum!), I know to be polite around human food, especially when kids are around. I won’t take anything from their hands without permission—I’m a good girl like that. But let me tell you, I do *love* dog treats, and I’ll do just about anything for one! Oh, and I’m a little vocal! I’ll let you know when I’m excited or just want to get your attention. I’m not a constant barker, but I do have a way of expressing myself when I want something or just feel like chatting. I’ve only been here a short time, but I’m already getting comfortable, and I’m looking forward to learning more and showing my true personality. Sweet Alba. How can you not love that adorable face Alba is a Sharpei mix. Unfortunately she didn't have a good life as was found taking cover and hiding out in the bathroom stalls at the Missions baseball field. All that is behind her now and she is ready for her own family!! Alba's great with dogs, not sure about cats. She does a cute little dance when waiting for her food in her crate. Loves to play but sometimes does get a bit overly excited. Please share and help find her furever home. Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! This is Pete! Pete is a very chill dog who gets along well with everyone! A sturdy, black, medium-sized Chinese Shar-Pei mix Pete will be your steadfast companion. Pete has a sweet temperament and average energy level, with occasional zoomies but tires easily. Pete is still learning the ropes and is not yet crate trained but is house broken. He has not been fully exposed to other dogs and cats but seems to tolerate both fine and has never had any issue. Pete just wants to relax and be near people and that's it! Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!! SO SO SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)
