This is Pete! Pete is a very chill dog who gets along well with everyone! A sturdy, black, medium-sized Chinese Shar-Pei mix Pete will be your steadfast companion. Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! Who's better than the rest-y? That's right, it's me, Betsy! I am a cool Chinese Shar-Pei mixed female with a Tuxedo colored coat and white socks! My facial features even have a cool black and white coloring to them too! I was rescued from a bad hoarding situation alongside my siblings, thing's weren't looking good for us. But our big-hearted rescuers saved us and got us on the road to better care and living great lives! Betsy likes to chew on big bones, occasionally wiggle her ears around, and bark at squirrels. Location: Sioux Falls, SD Taj is a good boy with a wiggly butt when happy or greeting people. He's a typical puppy who runs and plays and is very curious! He is fully potty trained. He likes to chew on antlers, Himalayan bones and hooves. He does play with an occasional squeaky toy, but chewing is more his thing. He's a good listener and loves to be with his humans and resident siblings. He is a submissive guy who would do well with siblings. When it's time to go to bed he loves his kennel. You just tell him it's time to go to bed and he goes to his kennel and lays down. This girl goes at 100 miles an hour, and then snuggles. She is a high energy youngster! Her smooth short coat is easy maintenance. Sits quietly for nail trims. This active pup is great with other dogs and ignores the resident cat. She loves to play and play and play with her human and dog friends. Working on house breaking (good progress for age, keeps kennel dry and clean but needs frequently potty trips and close supervision when inside). Quiet and great in a kennel. Needs a slow feed bowl please :-) Working on walking on a leash Already doing well on "come" with treats, working on "sit", knows "kennel", but frequently does still jump up in her happiness and joy at seeing you and playing. Likes playing with stuffed toys, Kongs, and Benebone chews. A home with older children (approximately 10 yrs +) needed, as in her few interactions with younger children she has been fearful. Her extreme exuberance is not a good mix for little children, and she will need a home that can help work with her on her hesitation with new people and younger kids. Gigi will make a great companion for a family that will provide exercise and enrichment for an active young pup. A GENEROUS DONOR HAS COVERED THIS DOG'S VET COSTS, GIVING YOU A REDUCED ADOPTION FEE! Virginia was dumped out pregnant and despite going up to several homes and people, no one tried to help. She eventually wandered up to an empty house to have her three babies and thankfully someone finally took pity and reach out to get her help. Now Virginia and two of her puppies - Violet & Vince - are still waiting for families of their own and they are all on the URGENT list as their shelter is over full and they are running out of time. This girl is going to make someone a fabulous companion! She walks very well on a leash and is learning not to pull. She is potty-trained and is active but not hyper, does not jump, nor does she guard her food or toys. Virginia LOVES to go for car rides, especially if there's a burger and a pup-cup involved. And when she is on outings, she is the perfect lady when walking around the store - she was polite, greeted everyone, picked out a chew toy and treats. She takes a treat ever-so-gently and is just an overall "Good Girl!" Her absolute favorite thing is playing with her tennis ball or squeaky ball!! No stuffy toys for this girl. She loves to be with her person but if you are busy, she is content to play by herself too. Virginia does well with kids and loves every human she meets but she does not love other dogs, and we recommend she be an only-pet home. Virginia is looking for a family to include her on their adventures and show her all the love this mama dog deserves!! This girl is an absolute LOVE and deserves the best home ever! Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. This gal and brothers were found on the side of the road. This is a wonderful group! They do not bark unless playing and just like to have a fun time! They are very friendly and get along with everyone. Yuki has a little spark in her from having to deal with her brothers all of the time. She is very sweet but can hold her own when needed. They will need all the basic puppy training with everything that comes with it. She is a wonderful pup who would make a great addition to any family. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
