Hi, I’m Soni, a happy and sweet girl. I am young, playful and get along with other dogs. I have a Shar- Pei friend, Finn, in my foster home, who is laid back like I am. I would do best with a calm, laid back dog friend. I have been very good on the leash. I enjoy walks and will walk beside my foster mom with gentle correction. I love my human foster sister and sit outside her door waiting for her to come out. I am crate trained and sleep in my crate at night. I would love to find my “furever” home! Story
Hi, I’m Greta! I am a laid back girl. I am very sweet and loving to my people I enjoy lounging on the couch and laying in my bed chewing my ball. I do love a long walk on the leash, exploring the yard and going for rides in the car. I am housetrained. I do sleep in my crate at night, but I would prefer a home where I do not have to be crated very often during the day because that is stressful for me. I’ve met my foster pals on the leash and done OK. We think I would do best in a laid back home without cats and/or wild and crazy dogs. My skin has healed nicely and my coat is growing back a beautiful shiny black color. We are still working on my ears which were badly infected when I arrived at Rescue. I had my spay and entropion surgeries and am now ready to go to my forever home! I would love to have a home of my own where I can hang out on the couch with you and go for walks and rides in the car! Do I sound like the girl for you? Hi I’m Coal! I am a young black male Shar-Pei, about one year old. I walk well on the leash but do want to check everything out. I know how to sit for treats and before going out the door (most of the time). I also know ‘Drop it’. I love riding in the car and running and being outside. We think I would do great with an active family. Maybe we could go on hiking adventures together! I love the entire world. I want to see and do everything. I am very curious about every dog I see or hear. My Foster Mommy says I am the doggie version of a nosey friendly neighbor! I am settled in at my foster home and have already found my favorite place…the ottoman is perfect keeping me close to my human on cool leather. I do great at the veterinarian’s office and am perfect on the vet exam table.

Hi! I'm Dixie. I’m a little (39-40 lbs), cream horsecoat Shar-Pei. Foster Mommy says that I am sweet as can be! I love laying in my Foster Mommy’s lap and like to sleep on the bed at night. I do well in the house..no accidents and am very good about going in my crate. I am doing ok on a leash but still need more work on that. I am a bit excitable, so we think a home with older children (12 & up) would be best so that I don’t knock any little kids over. I do need a home with a fenced yard. I don’t try to climb or jump over fences, but I will check to see if I can get under. I get along with the other dogs at my foster home and want to play with them, but they don’t really want to play with me. When I came to Rescue, my skin and ears were in such horrible condition that I had almost no hair left. Foster Mommy and my veterinarian have been working hard and my skin has improved tremendously. My skin is still dark on my back end, but I am no longer itchy and am quite comfortable. I recently had entropion surgery to correct my eye issues. I was also spayed. Now that I have had my entropion and spay surgeries, I am looking for my perfect “furever” home.
