Meet Stephanie! This young gal is ready for her forever home. She literally stops people in their tracks with how pretty she is! She appears to be a mix of shar pei and chocolate lab, which gives you good looks, athletic build, floppy ears and gorgeous green eyes.Stephanie is sweet, good natured, smart and loves all other dogs. She would like to be the friend of all dogs, big or small, young or old. She plays great in a playgroup and walks well on a leash. She loves a good toy basket and will sprinkle the toys around your home because you never know when you might need a toy. She is also picking up fetch and will bring things back to you. When ready to settle in for the night, she’s happy to lay next to you on the sofa, but must always be touching. At bedtime, she’s content in her kennel, or will spoon (little spoon please) all night.Stephanie’s ideal home will have another pup she can hang and learn from as she’s very curious about this home life situation she’s heard so much about. In her short time as a foster, she was picking up on commands and would signal when she needed to go out. She also just really loves to be with her people, so if you don’t mind having company for every small task you do, she’s your gal.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Autumn Female Autumn is a 3-year-old Shar Pei mix. She loves people and enjoys playing outside and being loved by her people. She needs to be the only dog in the home with no children under the age of 16. Autumn will melt your heart when you meet her 💙 She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and microchipped. A vet reference with a history of consistent vaccinations is recommended to adopt. Adoption fee $150. Applications can be completed at hsnwla.com/adopt

Story
Meet Hudson who is a 5 year old Sharpei mix. He is extremley sensitive and soft hearted but he loves to snuggle and takes as many hugs and kisses as he can. He has a sensitivity to fleas and battles skin issues.  But as long as he is kept on flea prevention and grain-free food, his skin is good.  He is not a fan of cats, so should not be in a home with any. Hudson LOVES to eat and can be a hoarder when it comes to food. He needs work on leash walking and would be better with one on one attention. Hudosn loves soaking up the sun and car rides, but he drools profusely during the ride.  He is a great dog he just isn't great with other male dogs. But he is super smart, eager-to-please, and very protective and will make someone a wonderful pet. He's a Charming little man. He loves to snuggle and is just the cutest little thing.Hudson is fully vetted and has gone through heartworm treatment.November 4, 2024, 11:32 am
