She is quite athletic and would have fun doing outdoor activities, though she has been known to make it over a fence or two in her day. Wednesday is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly and would be an excellent companion to a myriad of homes that are looking to add a furry companion.

I'm a true rescue, a diamond in the rough, With my pointy bunny ears, I'm not a bluff. I love all humans, with a heart so true, And with other dogs, I'll play and pursue. My diet's special, a culinary delight, But don't worry, I won't start a food fight. I'm a bit of a project, but that's just fine, With your love and care, I'll truly shine! Rescued from KC Pet Project in April 2021 at 1.5 yr old. Listed as Shar Pei mix. Current age: 5.5 yr old. We are looking to re-home him because we feel he deserves a better home than we can provide at this time. With a 19 month old and 1 month old baby we don't have the time that Presley needs and deserves. He is the best dog we have ever owned and deserves a home and a family that can cherish him more than we can. Presley is very intelligent. He can learn new tricks with minimal practice - but maximal treats! He knows: sit, lay down, stay, wait (before food or treats to be eaten), spin (left & right), bow, smile (shows teeth), "bang" (finger gun and he will fall down to play dead), and can go through your legs. Presley is a quiet dog - only barks during intense playing. Crate trained - asks to go to bed at 7pm in crate. Gentle with people, gentle mouthed. Never once chewed any of our belongings or kids toys. Walks well on leash with prong collar. Want to know more? Ask away!

Meet Espresso! Unfortunately we will never know this sweet old man's past, other than he was found as a stray and taken to a kill shelter where he was euth listed only because of his age. The only dog in an empty row they decided wasn't worth living and to walk down the hall and never return. We could not let that be his fate. Since being with us, this sweet old man has stolen every heart he's met. Espresso is mostly concerned with any person wiling to give him a little affection. He is so thankful to be given a second chance at life and would love to be yours furever. Espresso is good with other dogs at times, but we think we would do best in a home where he can be the only pup.

Meet Maureen! This spunky old lady is about 12 years old and a mixed breed. She is more medium sized though weighing about 50 pounds. Those beautiful brown eyes were facing euthanasia at a kill shelter in Oklahoma just for being an older girl, but we knew she has so much life to live! Maureen is the sweetest girl you could ever find, all she wants is to curl up next to you and take a nap or get pets! She spends most of her day upsidedown waiting for belly rubs. She’s the perfect girl to binge watch your favorite show! Maureen is potty trained and listens well, please show this girl what a home feels like - she deserves a home with a cozy bed to sleep on all day. She is also great with other dogs.
