Meet Bliss. She came to us with her dog buddy, both picked up as strays. Bliss has the most incredibly soft fur, cute wrinkles and very expressive eyes. She takes treats very gently, but also is good at catching them in the air! She sits nicely on command and is very friendly. She pulls a little on a leash, but a no-pull harness will cure that. She is a nice medium-sized dog...about 50 pounds? Bliss has been non-reactive to cats. When she got to see some in their wire kennels and one strongly hissed at her, she simply cocked her head, and went the other direction. Great reaction! She obviously likes some dogs, since she came here with her dog friend, but she is reactive to the other dogs as she "walks the gauntlet of barking dogs". This is fairly normal, but a meet-n-greet with your dog is recommended. Slow introductions that may take days or even weeks is NORMAL for both dogs and cats and will help ensure a happy future.If you are looking for a super soft and lovable friend, come meet Bliss! ......... Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!!
