Hope Rescues is all volunteer, all visits must be scheduled you may do that by filling out an online application as that is needed for a visit. You can find an application our website. Our adoption fee is $275.00 which includes Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, current heart worm test, DHPP booster, Bordetella vaccine, Microchip, Worming.Miley is a 3 and half year old mixed breed girl who is very well mannered and easy going. She is quiet, house trained and gentle. She is the perfect dog and it has dumbfounded us how she ever became homeless.Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Hope pulls animals on their last day of life from animal control facilities that still use the inhumane gas chamber to put to death homeless pets. Marlee is a fun name for a fun gal! I was living my life and having some fun, except no one got me "fixed" so the fun ended up with me being a single mother with 6 hungry mouths to feed!!! Who thinks that their fun will lead to months of feeding and my milk producers dragging on the ground :( I sure didn't... However, I LOVE MY BABIES!!! Now that they are on their own in foster homes, that is :) I am a fun gal, I love to play with my friends and I am great with other playful and fun dogs. I am a climber and a jumper so it may be why I was out playing in the first place.... but I digress... I am happy and sweet and I have the gorgeous soft, PLENTIFUL muzzle of a Shar Pei, with the energy of a lab or shepherd or who knows what other breed I am. I want a real family who will love me for all that I am, and I am A LOT!! Look me up and let's run off into the sunset :) ADOPT... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE AND MY PUPPIES' LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!!! Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!! **Crinkle, crinkle, CRINKLE*** ever tried to be quiet in a theater while opening your candy bag?? Well, that is my LIFE!!! I have wrinkles and creases and crinkles EVERYWHERE!!! But, hey! I am a Shar Pei, so what else do I do?? (i mean besides look so so cute?) Yes, can you believe a purebred Shar Pei tied to a post... only in South Texas :(, that was 3 years ago.... But, I am one of the lucky ones! I was even adopted 3 years ago!!! However, my luck ran out when my owner died and his kids couldn't keep me.... SO here I am again, pleading for the right family to adopt me!!! I want to find a home who loves me and won't mind a little **crinkle, crinkle** in the middle of the night. I am only about 5 yrs old and 40#. I can't wait to be the queen of your home. Must know about my breed, we are great great dogs but have our little idiosyncrasies. Ace was originally adopted out of ACS as a small puppy, but was found completely emaciated and dumped. We were able to pull him into our rescue and he is now on his way to gaining back his weight.Other than being neglected our vet has found nothing wrong with Ace. He is an amazing sweet boy, and despite what he went through with his previous owners he is still such a loving, gentle boy. His soulful bright eyes and sweet smile melts the heart of everyone who meets him.Ace is crate and house trained, good with other dogs, kids and even cats. He's the happiest sweetest boy with an amazing disposition. Ace loves to snuggle and be near his people. You'd never know this girl has had a rough life because she's a total sweet heart just looking for someone to love her! She came to Stray Paws as a stray who had just given birth in a strangers yard. Steffi's babies have been adopted and now she's living her best life in a foster home. Steffi LOVES belly rubs and rolls on her back to ask for one every time we walk past! This girl is quite the talker, it's hilarious! She's absolutely the perfect girl...potty trained, expert snuggler, incredibly smart, perfect in the car and gets super excited for walks! Dog friendly but a tad bit jealous. Steffi is appreciative for everything (including ice cubes!) and looks at us so adoringly, like she's saying thank you. This special girl is waiting to meet her forever family. Is it you?
