Hi, I`m kip. I can be a little nervous at first but once I get to know you, I will relax a bit. I love to go on walks with the volunteers here at CAC. I do like to play with other dogs sometime but I can be a little choosy when it comes too who I like to play with. In my previous home I lived with a baby but other than that we aren`t really sure how I do with children. If your thinking about taking me home please be sure you have the time, space and resources to take care of me for the rest of my life! I cant wait to meet you!

HI - I'M JULIE! I'm a sweet 9-year-old Shar Pei/Staffie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for awhile for a home and that's a bit sad, but I'm still hopeful my person or people will come along. I only weigh about 52 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in great athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you give me a chance and foster or adopt me?

Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Bella is a sweet loving cuddle bug. She is a couch potato and just loves to lay in your lap and get belly rubs. She will need a trainer. She would need some house training as she has been primarily an outside dog. She is 4 years old and has her shots. She is a shar-pei, pitbull, Australian shepherd, lab, blue healer and border collie mix. She has been around children her whole life and does really well with them. She hasn't had any formal training before but she is very, very smart. She is a bit shy around new people but once she warms up to you, she is the most cuddly, loving dog and your protector.
