I am a beautiful, distinguished lil lady searching for a home that I can relax and sunbathe in. I enjoy being with my people and will greet you with a smile after a long day. If cuddling has a weight limit, I don't want to hear it because I am just a big cuddle bug looking for my best friend to share the love with. Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
I have had a hard journey. I was a very pregnant senior gal transferred from another shelter so that I could spend my pregnancy in a foster home. I was a high risk due to my age, and sadly my pregnancy took a bad turn as I started to loose my pups and became very sick myself. Thankfully I was brought to the ER just in time to save me from sepsis from a retained placenta. Because of my antibiotics, I was unable to feed my two surviving pups so my human foster mom took great care of them and raised them as her own. Just before being ready for adoption a growth popped up on my leg so back to the doctors I went. It was removed and biopsied and came back a low grade mast cell tumor. This is not the best news, but also not the worst, so now to keep me in the best shape, I am on joint support for arthritis and an antihistamine to help block more growths. I know I am a bit of a medical project, but I am loving and kind and am hopeful a family will fall in love with my gentle nature and say let's do this!I am currently living in a foster home, so if you are interested in adopting me please call and speak with our Office Staff - they can help get the process started!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Medical NeedsAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
I am all potato with a face sure to fall head over heels in love with! I was surrendered due to lack of time for my needs... As a mini English, I do come with a list of them... While I do love kids, I get anxious around young screaming children... 5 years old seems to be my sweet spot. Someone that stays home is my best fit as I need frequent potty breaks or I will relieve myself in the house and have been known to identify as a beaver and chew wood when bored and alone. I require face cleaning around my wrinkle folds and have some tentativeness with walking on the leash... I prefer to lay on my side for belly rubs. I love playing with other dogs, toys and of course being pampered. Sadly I am also heartworm positive, but H.A.L.O. is covering my treatment if you check all my boxes! I have recently begun heartworm treatment, so must be kept calm, cool, and collected until it is over. Because of this, I am not available to be seen by visitors until 12/9/24 when I can resume normal activity. If you are interested in adopting me though, please speak with the Front Office staff to talk about next steps!
