Story
Summer is a delightful medium-sized mix who is eagerly searching for her forever home! This gentle girl has a calm and loving disposition that makes her the perfect companion for a serene household. She can be a bit shy at first, so any kids in the home should be old enough to go slow with her in the beginning. Once she warms up, which doesn`t take long, she is a total sweethear! She is incredibly gentle and affectionate, always ready for a cuddle or a quiet moment by your side. Her calm demeanor makes her an excellent companion for anyone seeking a peaceful and loving dog! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Osito (Oso) is a one-year-old Shar-Pei mix whose name means “little bear,” and it fits him perfectly. He is 100% a little bear—soft, squishy, and an absolute mush ball at heart. Meet Osito, aka Oso truly lives up to his name—he’s a little bear with the gentlest soul. Oso is incredibly kind and loving, and he absolutely adores other dogs. Having a canine companion is a must for him, as he feels most secure and confident when another dog is around. With a dog friend by his side, he does great being left home and settles in happily. Oso didn’t have an easy start to life. He spent his early days living chained up in a backyard, and when he was finally surrendered, he immediately needed entropion surgery to relieve the pain he’d been living with. Despite everything he’s been through, Oso is incredibly gentle, trusting, and full of love. His resilience is just as beautiful as his sweet heart.  He loves going on walks and enjoys exploring the world, though he can pull when he smells something or sees another dog. With a martingale collar, he is getting better. He’s a sensitive boy who can be a little nervous when meeting new people, especially men, but he warms up more quickly to women and continues to build confidence with patience and kindness. Like many young dogs, he may nibble on unattended items (shoes beware!), but as long as the basics are picked up and he has a nylon bone and a dog buddy, he’s perfectly content. Oso is incredibly sweet, deeply affectionate, and a total heartbreaker. I promise—you will fall in love with him the moment you meet him. Oso is a no cat dog! He loves chasing a little creatures a bit too much! If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a teddy-bear soul, Osito might just be your perfect match LOLA'S Rescue You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2596152##

Story
Meet Piglet At around 4 years old, this spayed female Shar Pei has fully embraced her role as royalty—and she expects you to do the same. Piglet is the unquestioned queen of her foster home and has her foster dad completely wrapped around her paw. On chilly Colorado nights, she doesn’t bark or beg… she simply gives him the look, and up he goes to switch on her heated blanket. As it should be. Piglet’s journey hasn’t always been so glamorous. She came to us nearly hairless due to severe neglect. Over the past three months, with proper care and lots of love, her coat has slowly started to grow back in—but she still has a long road ahead of her. Piglet will need a home with shar pei experience, committed to continuing her medical care and giving her the extra attention she deserves. She may be a bit high maintenance, but don’t worry—she promises she’s absolutely worth it. And oh, is she ever. Piglet gives the very best “gnome kisses” (you’ll know when you get one!) and her whole body wiggles with joy when she’s happy—which is often. Beneath her royal expectations is a deeply affectionate, resilient girl who just wants to be cherished and comfortable. If you’re ready to serve a tiny, wrinkly queen with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Piglet is ready to rule your home.  March 7, 2026, 1:57 pm

Story
Bubba Things you’ll love: Bubba is smart and very loyal to his people. He really loves to lay down at the foot of the bed and spoon with a human which is just maybe one of the most incredible feelings in the world. He’s independent and will check in every once and awhile. He loves to be outside and he loves putting his head in your chest while you cover his head. I’m sure you will discover many other funny things about him. …but really if you wanna make him the happiest tell him it’s time to go on a walk. He will grumble and wag his whole body. Bubba is a quiet dog unless he is alerted to someone at the door. He doesn’t bark with a passerby. Bubba has been around many dogs, but in my opinion, he would be best as a lone dog or with a calm dog that will give him space. Bubba has lived with and done well with cats.  Things to work on: leash walking. he pulls because he’s just so dang excited. He doesn’t dig but he pushes his back legs back when he’s outside. It’s also funny.March 9, 2026, 3:20 pm
