Hi! My name is Luka and I am looking for my forever home. I’m a five-month-old adorable super mutt! My DNA says Chinese Shar-Pei/American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a bunch of other breeds mixed in there too. I love playing with my toys, other dogs, chewing on bones, cuddling and eating all my food! I learn fast but I still get super excited and have puppy energy. I am told I will be a big tall boy but I will always love to cuddle like a little lap dog. I currently live with other dogs and cats and I get along great with both. My foster mom is now taking me for walks and I should be leashed trained soon. I am still learning to potty only outside but I am a quick learner and have made significant improvements! This little chunky monkey was tossed from a car at about 5 weeks old and three pounds.  A bystander picked hervup and took her to yhe nearest shelter.  Fortunately little Oprah was intercepted by another rescue, who asked us to help her.  From day 1 she has been a funny little roly poly who love to play and cuddle..She is completing vaccines and will be available for pick up after her spay on December 23rd.Adoption fees include up to date on vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms, spay, chip implantation and initial registration.  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/32026/genericYou can meet her at the Fontana Petco on Sundays from 12-4 (During December, we will be at the store every Sat and Sunday thru Sunday Dec 22 and returning Sunday, Dec 29). Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows 'sit', 'stay', 'heel' and 'come', and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Sasha is fostering in Northern California (Napa area).December 5, 2024, 5:27 pm
