Presley is 7 years old and 70 pounds. He is a total wiggle butt who loves attention and loves people! He loves to eat and he loves to go for runs! Sometimes he tries to eat and run if you drop something on the floor! He will nudge you for pets and lean his whole body against you! His previous owner said that he was house trained and would hold his bladder until he went outside. Presley recently went on FURlough and was reported to be a great walking buddy! He loved the car ride and sticking his head out the window, and was fantastic when passing other dogs on their walk!Presley`s adoption fee has been generously sponsored by Green Acres!I lived with dogs in my previous home, and I may do well with a slow introduction! I lived with cats in my previous home, and I may do well with a slow introduction! I lived with kids in my previous home, and I may do well with a slow introduction!If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served.

Story
Ashton is a smart and loyal female dog. She is friendly and affectionate, loves to play, and enjoys the company of humans. She would make a great companion to someone who doesn't desire their dog to be a part of every aspect of their social life. Ashton is a homebody. Ashton is independent and knows how to entertain herself. She also enjoys being a couch potato, and cuddling up with her favorite humans is one of her happiest activities! Small children make her very nervous, so she needs to be in a kid free environment. Ashton also is not comfortable with other dogs, so a family looking for a single pet is her best match. Consequently finding a home for her has been a challenge. But we know her people are out there! Ashton is an adult dog. She has plenty of energy and lots of love to give a family.
